Ilfracombe’s pretty harbour offers fishing charters and pleasure cruises around the coast or to Lundy Island in the season; voted No.6 in Europe and No. 20 in the world by travellers in 2020, Woolacombe Beach, one of the best in the UK and renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities, is only a 2 miles or a bus ride away. Take the popular Tarka Trail for cyclists and walkers, visit Exmoor National Park, Exmoor Zoo, Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and other beaches such as Saunton Sands, Croyde and Westward Ho! It also boasts free unlimited access to nearby Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park (Easter hols to end of October half term). This includes full use of indoor and outdoor pools, shop, clubhouse, restaurant and bar (please contact us on arrival to gain access).
