Simple, clean rooms & Very helpful and polite staff.
Noise from the nightclub across the road.
It's in a great location - close to Oxford Road but a short walk from the centre. Rooms are well-designed, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine, even the bar was friendly!
It can be a little noisy at night/early morning when the nearby clubs turn out. Depends where your room is, of course.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean as was whole hotel. Good location
Staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good. The room was clean and was very comfortable. WIFI was excellent.
Location was quite good.
Stayed on lower floor with a club across the road. Very noisy queue of people.
Fair enough price for the overall booking
I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. Not that I'm homophobic but the hotel is in the gay district which you don't mention
£112 for a double room with no frills is overpriced. The sink was blocked.
The bed's were really comfy. I had a good sleep.
The room decoration was a little dated.
Great location and a fantastic price for Manchester at Christmas.
No issues at all.
Inside the building was nice. The bathroom was a pod design and though not to everybody's taste, I thought it was fabulous. The bed was nicely made and it was clean and tidy.
There was no car parking facilities. I had to pay £10 to park overnight opposite in the multi-storey, which was full of homeless drug addicts. The kettle and tea and coffee facilities within the room was atrocious, the kettle was old and dirty, with a broken lid, and the tea and coffee? Well I don't think one sachet cuts it. I like a few coffees.. Also the room was freezing cold, but the 'so called heater' was extremely loud and i couldn't sleep with it on.
Very hepfull staff
Rooms feel dated and could do with a makeover
The staff were very very friendly, room was excellent, bed was lovely. Everything about Ibis we liked! Just the Little moan about breakfast, but still a lovely choice of hot food.
Only thing we we not sure of was the breakfast area! A bit being like at school for dinners! All you eat was If it came out. Not really at a Constant Pace, Very Slow, especially as there was a lot in for breakfast. That is the only minor thing about this hotel.
Beds were very uncomfortable so didn't sleep well. There are also a lot of stains on carpets and seats giving it a bit of a dirty feel although the bathroom and bedding was clean and no dust so this is not down to the cleaners. Don't think I would stay here again
good location, young trainee staff member very helpful and polite when approached
having to show 3 lots of i.d as i couldnt remember pin to credit card, showed passport, driving licence and bank cards, and still receptionist was a bit reluctant to accept them,i even showed her my airline ticket.
Basic rooms, cheap feel
Quick, efficient service and excellent value
you know exactly what you are getting with ibis..
It was a touch loud , even on 6th floor . but it is december in the hub of all nightlife.
The room and shower. The staff very helpful.
Poor BBC reception. The noise from outside to close to students accommodation.
convenient location for where I was going (Uni) nice bed friendly staff
really smelly room, smelled like a dead animal or something cable was not working properly either
Bed, mattress and bedding was amazing. Need to buy it for home
the bed was so comfy and the power of the shower was lovely didnt eat at the hotel, 3 good pubs near
Many of the Accor hotels have been renovated but this one is due. The tired carpets (old stains) need replacing with laminate floors. Saying that the rest of the room was ok and clean
wifi - very slow, no excuse other Ibis connections work
The location The view
The cleanliness Carpet not hoovered and towels used Insufficient amount of shampoo and soap (low quality for that price)
Excellent for what it is
The bed was comfortable clean room Tv only had certain channels but still good Overall good experience at the hotel, the woman at the desk when we arrived was very helpful, she drew us a map of where we wanted to go in the city (without us asking) which was very nice of her.
Rude door man/security man, my partner asked if there was a smoking area or if we just went outside, as it mentioned on the door that heavy smoking would set off the alarm (we didn't know if that meant we could smoke in the room) so the door man proceeded to walk us out the front door and to a bin, where he mimed smoking, thought it was very rude and patronizing. Additionally, the shower was a good size however there wasn't a mat or any grip on the floor so its very easy to slip on, they also don't have separate shampoo and shower gel, its just one all over body wash which was very difficult to wash out of my hair.
