the staff were far from helpful and was told by a security guard to use the stairs as the lifts were out of order on our return at 3am after consuming a large amount of intoxicating drinks was very unpleasant,i was also horrified to see homeless people sleeping around as i viewed out of my window in the morning,we had walked past these people lurking unknown of their presence in a darkened street hours before
Location to bars and clubs is excellent. Very close to public transport including train stations and metrolink and buses. Hotel rooms are compact but have everything you need for one night.
Rooms are quite small.
The location, the price and the cleanliness
Too much noise from outside
Was Charged with an Obscene price - 135 GBP per night (while a large outside display dominating the respective street showed "room rate starting with 59 GBP/night"). No value for money. Neutral atmosphere. Robotic staff. Definitely not recommended. Avoid.
Hotel was really clean, the staff were friendly and helpful.
cheap parking across the road...Sunday night so very quiet
Beds are quite comfy
Food quality has gone down since refurbishment, poor breakfast, don't expect cheap sliced bread from ibis, cooked fare was cold, no decaff or skimmed milk.
Room was cold and thin duvets
Position of Hotel was just right for what I needed. Staff gave 5 star value in terms of welcome and help. Basic facilities but great value for money on a limited budget.
The Breakfast was a little over cooked because of standing. I went down about 9.15 not the most inspiring meal.
Close to city centre and stations Free wifi Basically room has everything you needed
The teapot was dirty in the room
The hotel could do with a general make over, carpets in rooms and hallways need cleaning or replacing
Convenience to Coach Station. Friendly and helpful reception staff.
Cleanliness and crispness of the decoration, not over the top, fake decadence. Literally 5 mins walk from Piccadilly restaurants, bars and railway/metro station. Free WiFi, more hotels should learn from IBIS.
Friendly staff, helpful but powerless to alter the things that matter
Very expensive for what was offerd and breakfast was very poor quality, badly cooked and even the toaster didnt work
Clean room Good location
Bed was a bit uncomfortable
comfort of the bed. staff were lovely and friendly and exceptionally helpful.
the cheap toilet paper and slow wifi
comfy bed n power showers
It's good value for money.
Needs updating. carpet filthy. customer service could have been better.
Helpful staff with an Internet problem
A comfortable & convenient hotel, just right for a night out in Manchester
Location, excellent staff, rooms , comfy, quiet , excellent , buffet breakfast choice .
Nothing was to like there
Nice, easy location for city centre. Room facilities are what's needed for a weekend away (bed, bathroom w/ shower, kettle etc.) Staff were awesome with checking in and out.
Bit pricey at £105 for a night. Could put people off future bookings
Was a really great hotel. Stopped one night after a night out so the closeness of canal street was excellent (I could walk it drunk and in heels)
Breakfast was a little expensive in the morning for what it wa, epically when we were under the impression it was incincluded.
