Although there was noise from other residents it was well muffled and I found my room to be quiet and comfortable
I do find the bathrooms a bit on the tiny side with not much room for manoeuvring although I do think they are quite well designed
Nice friendly staff, clean & comfortable room. Used the hotel restaraunt and food was lovely
The bathroom & shower is very small but I think this is reflected in the price so for one night its ok but I probably would use somewhere else if I needed a longer stay
Value, location, very helpful staff
The overall location of the hotel is excellent, as everything you need is within walking distance of the hotel.
The bathroom was quite small but I understand this cannot be changed but overall facilities are excellent
Great hotel, staff an absolute pleasure to deal with. Eating facilities & quality of food really good.
Bathrooms are a bit on the small side but apart from that really pleased with our stay.
The staff were fantastic - flexible, approachable and happy:-)
I had a room next door to a couple with two dogs that whined and barked in the night - 3 hours sleep and I was shattered the next day.
Food in the restaurant was very good.
Bathroom was very small
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading a few bad reviews. The foyer was very modern and the restaurant was quite fancy looking. You could help yourself to free bread! The menu was new and very enticing. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room itself was small but a perfectly adequate size for just me. The bathroom was even smaller but the shower was NOT over the toilet or anything - it was in its own cubicle. There was a cute porthole-style window! The main room had a larger window.
One downside was that you couldn't control the temperature of the room as well as you could in other budget hotels like the Premier Inn. There was no thermostat on the wall. You could turn the radiator on at a choice of two heat settings, but you couldn't control a small vent in the wall which seemed to blow in cold air every now and again.
Location was excellent for shopping and access to public transport
had to pay £7 a day for car parking facilities. We didn't know this before arrival
Comfortable beds. Room clean.
Room small. Parking limited. Drunken revellers returning at 5am shouting and swearing in corridors.
Not a lot
Very small and so basic I think you over charge for being such a little hotel
Location was great, staff very friendly.
toilet is too small
loved the place xx

shower room was very small. it was adequate for our 1 night stay
Was to the normal ibis standard
Thought the room a little small
I had a lovely evening with my partner and the staff were very friendly
The service for the food was a bit slow but when the food came out it was brilliant food! The roomw as slightly small but it has everything you need
The breakfast was really good quality, with a great choice.
The room was very basic, but ok for a single night. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress was minimal.
Room & facilities very clean. Great location for Portsmouth centre.
The bed! No frills or pretention. It was clean, comfortable; all the staff,at reception, in the bar and at breakfast were attentive and friendly. Our evening meal was very tasty and breakfast was good. Thank you.
