size of bathroom very very small no wardrob
Location great for dockyard and gunwharf quays. Very comfy bed and good breakfast.
The location was ideal for my trip. Although quite basic, the rooms were clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and polite.
At only 5ft 2in, I struggled slightly with the size of the bathroom, had my husband (at 6ft 2in) been with me I'm not sure he would have managed at all.
We like the locations of the hotels as it gives us a good base to tour local sites Also the rooms are clean and modern and staff friendly Buffet breakfast is excellent Thank you
Had a very pleasant evening at this hotel, nice reception, staff, bar and restaurant.
Bathroom was a bit cramped - with toilet fitted in corner and wall facing it quite close.
Even tho the rooms are small, very clean with everything needed when asked. Bed was really comfy
After the first nite of using wifi, the next 2days had problems connecting to wifi
Room too small. WiFi only 30mins.staff too lay back.
Room was like a shoe box and u had to pay extra to park at the hotel! Outrageous!
Easy walk to the shops. Restaurant very good
Sink too large in bathroom
We didn't like the squeaking of the entrance doors. Our room was above the entrance and the doors squeaked every time someone came into the hotel.
Clean and tidy, good reception.
Size of shower room
I thought the staff were excellant they could not help enough. Extremley friendly, polite and proffessional. The recetion and bar/restaurant area is lovely.
the size of the rooms especially the bathroom.
Good all you can eat breakfast. Parking facility useful. Helpful staff. Boys enjoyed playing pool . Good location for gunwharh quays etc
Rooms small especially bathroom. Needed window open as room was so hot which then made it very noisy with revellers late into night.
What you expect from and ibis. No fuss, cleanliness and quite a cheap rate for one night when you don't expect to spend much time at the hotel. If you're looking for luxury this is not it but then you are not paying for it either. Good value for money for what it is. Decent breakfast at a again a reasonable rate for a hotel breakfast.
Room was very comfortable and clean with everything you need. Receptionist was really good. Good wifi.
The bed was comfortable. I can say very little else positive about this hotel. As I planned to stay in Portsmouth for two nights I thought I would up grade from a budget hotel and thought ibis would fit the bill. How wrong I was, the only thing big about the room was the bill! The room was tiny, I'm an average size 14 but struggled to comfortable use the loo or shower, having to dry myself in the bedroom to prevent injury! Very disappointed for the cost.
Decent bed, clean and conveniently located near pubs and train station.
Small bathroom - I'm not sure if a larger person could have squeezed into the small area where the toilet was. Low water pressure in the shower but functional.
The decor is modern and uncluttered. Within easy walking distance harbour and museums. Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was tiny! Stayed during university break I think it could be noisy outside when students return. Bedroom very basic wouldn't want to stay any longer that 2/3 nights.
Friendly helpful staff, good food, comfy beds, ideal location for shops
Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable
Not very good value for money
Times for the Breakfast and choice of food excellent.
A lot of the staff, except the lady in the bar, totally disinterested . Going through the motions of doing their job.
It was good value for an overnight stay in a city centre. The dinner and breakfast was also OK and good value. Staff were very helpful.
Room too small to be comfortable. Bathroom impossibly small, hardly room to turn round. Walls so thin we could hear conversations in the next-door bathroom, and every word of conversations outside the door. Doors to rooms that slammed every time they were used. I realise if one books a budget hotel one's expectations can't be too high, so it's made me recognise that I must pay more if I want space and quiet!
The location , private parking
Couldn't open windows to get some cool air at night, made it difficult to sleep
