The hotel is an older villa with large modern extension. Pleasant decor throughout
Our room in the extension was on 3rd floor and there was a lift. A little on the small side but clean and comfortable. The shower room was lovely. Towels were thin and small.
We ate in the bar, which has great views, as the dining room was a bit soulless. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food was quite good, well presented and hot.

Visited to walk Ben Nevis so location was good, staff friendly and helpful. Would have liked the option to cancel without payment in order to rebook as weather conditions for any Ben walk always difficult to judge.
Looking onto Loch Linnhe, the Clan Macduff Hotel offers scenic views of the Highland landscape, free WiFi in public areas, free private parking and a restaurant serving Highland cuisine.

The views from the Coffee room, Restaurant and bar are amazing and the staff will always sit you at a window table if there is one free. The food was amazing and an excellent selection on the menu with a special each night.
The bar had an excellent selection especially of gin and whisky. The prices across the hotel for food and drinks are very reasonable and it was great to sit in the evening with drinks and look out at the view.
The Room we had was in the lodge with a loch view and was amazing it was so nice to be able to sit outside in the morning or evening and watch the world go back.
There was plenty of space in teh car park and I even noticed some charging points for electric cars.

Its a busy town with plenty of good eating and drinking options and a variety of accommodation options. Ideal as a base for climbing Ben Nevis, but remember all the other options here - not just all the mountains, but lakes and places to visit.

The scenery is spectacular.
The scenery is spectacular. You are surrounded by the Cairngorm mountains, including Ben Nevis and there are lots of lochs in the area too. Lots of outdoor activities are available. The town is small and a little rundown, however there is some beautiful architecture and interesting bits to see. We went to the West Highland Museum very interesting and informative, staff were very friendly and welcoming. We visited the Ben Nevis Inn for dinner, definitely worth a visit, right at the foot of the mountain. Atmosphere and food were great. They also had live music. Might need to book.

Fort William as a town needs investment, depending on why you are there I suppose would change your opinion.
Ben nevis 10 mins away, beautiful loch on doorstep fishing , climbing walking, down hill cycling, ski ing, diving all plus points.
Night time especially week night useless.
Morar and Mallaig to the North beautiful and in summer amazing beach at Morar.
If you are there for hobby or sport great base camp, if you are a tourist and like entertainment at night during the week go somewhere else.
Very friendly welcome. Nice touches in room with bottled water and even a chocolate! Room size was OK and the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast (from 0730) with choice for those who like a continental style meal. Good location at the end of Fort William High Street and quiet given the Hotel overlooks the Roundabout. Within easy walking distance of other Restaurants/Bars/Entertainment, but leave enough time if walking to the Railway Station.
A very central hotel in Fort William, but the standard is poor. Everything felt worn down, the shower wasn't working properly, and the breakfast was horrible. We had breakfast included, but ended up only going there once and we couldn't even finish it. Me and my friend ordered different things and both felt the food tasted off. Luckily there is some great bakeries and cafes in the main street :)
Ben Nevis Manor is located a little ways outside the city. It was quiet with great views of the mountains. My room was spacious and comfortable (not to mention squeaky clean). My hosts were wonderful people, they went out of their way to make my stay there fabulous. I would highly recommend the Ben Nevis Manor the next time you’re in Fort William.
The hotel is really well located, right off the main road into Fort William. It is set back enough and the rooms are well insulated so there is no road noise at all. The staff were great, very welcoming and helped us with a few questions we had about the area. The room was really nice, good comfy bed and nice bathroom with a big shower.
We decided to visit Fort Williams last minute and since it’s July it is fully booked everywhere. Was skeptical to book this but decided to go ahead since it’s just for a night. i love the location. The hostel is located just at the foot of the mountain, which is perfect for us since we stayed only for a night.
- The hotel is new, rooms -including the bathrooms- are very clean.
- A good option as long as the price is resonable. Minimalist service similar to Premier Inn and Travelodge.
- The main audience is the Ben Nevis travellers, but Fort William is a 15 minute and Loch Ness is a 30 minute drive.
A very nicely appointed hotel with a great staff! The breakfast was quite good, and I highly recommend the restaurant for dinner ... great food at reasonable prices. I also liked that the bar was open until 11:00 p.m. - a welcome respite after a long day out and about in the Fort William area!
The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located close to Fort William. It was a last minute booking and the price was great! The staff in the restaurant at reception and breakfast were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a wonderful variety of foods to suit everyone’s preferences.
the possibility of having dinner in the hotel was very good since the weather was stormy, and there were floods.
Staff was nice.
Location is good, not in the centre of Fort William, but if you have a car, it will be perfectly easy to arrive there.
Easy access from the main road. Receptionist great. Very good intro to the hotel.
Got upgraded by hotel because we were there for our first anniversary. We'll worth it and to see Fort William. Then went to see Morar beeches.
The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great and it gave me plenty of energy to ride from Fort William to Inverness. The view from my room was amazing - Ben Nevis was starring straight at me in the morning.
A nice place to stay right in the heart of Fort William. The 2 apartment units we rented were very spacious and comfortable. The view from the Juliet balcony was amazing and my favorite part of the apartment.
Newly build, clean, tidy, everything worked as it should. Guest laundry was an unexpected bonus.
If using train to Glenfinian or Malliag, Banavie station is a shorter walk than Fort William
It was perfect for a weekend stay in Fort William the beds were very comfortable and it was very clean with a great location. I would highly recommend it and we would definitely book again.
This is an amazing place to stay in Fort William! You will be greeted warmly by the owners, and the accommodations have everything you need. And the view is incredible!
It was just where we wanted to be not too far out from Fort William the hotel was comfortable friendly the food was great and yes we would be back in the future
Location was great because fort william is in the midfle between glasgow and Inverness. Everything worked ok. Thete was some beer in the fridge. View is amazing
