Very spacious size of room , very large king-size/queen bed , room was clean and in good condition with no damage / broken fittings etc, bathroom was great with a very modern look and power shower within a bath , air conditioning worked well and kept room cool. Everything in general looked new and in room was good tea and coffee facilities

I often stay at this at the Raven Hotel from time to time As a little break. I very much enjoyed the hotel and would highly recommend this as 1st place to anybody whom is looking for a welcoming, warming on arriving. I went to Corby to visit a relative. There was a lot of good shops,restaurants,well known chain of pubs,other lovely pubs that also offered food.Nice cafes,dotted around,a market was on ?a Saturday market. We had wonderful staff and they were amazing ,especially Melissa who went above and beyond for me,on the night and she’s such a lovely girl. A cooked breakfast isn’t available,we only found this out on the day of check in that a continental breakfast was the only selection... Hotel was too far outside the town centre. To walk to the centre was 40 minutes. Nothing much to do around Corby. Had to rely on transport from my friends. I wouldn't be in a hurry to return to Corby. I will be staying in Northampton 30 minutes drive away or in Birmingham 1 hour drive away next time.FiefietrixabelIreland - 2.0Scored 2.0
Corby is more or less an industrial place.
Corby is more or less an industrial place. There is absolutely no interesting points in the town itself, apart from an incredible skatepark, Europe`s largest. The hotel is more of a place for workers ie factory workers are put up in this hotel and contract workers and this is fine but for the money I paid it is over priced and for the room I was given breakfast was cold even with the heater lamps on the food

The owners are extremely accommodating and offer a wealth of knowledge about the area and all of England in general. When I arrived at the property I was greeted by the owners, they had bread, butter, milk and fresh jam in the fridge waiting. Moat Cottage is located conveniently near both Kettering and Corby and not a far drive from Rushden Lakes making the location perfect for someone who wants to see a bit of everything. Shared toilet and shower facilities plentiful and all located very close to rooms. Good arrangement for buffet breakfast at the bar, very relaxed. I had mine outside every morning in the beautiful weather. Staff friendly and helpful. Especially one ;-) Good beer in the bar. If I was in the area again I wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay.
