We didn't have time to explore the local area as we decided to leave the Britannia Hotel after 2hrs! First impressions around the vicinity of the hotel were poor. Area appeared dilapidated, untidy and overgrown with weeds. Wouldn't want to return!

I had no heating or heating control in my room.The main window would not close properly and cold air was coming in. So I did not sleep well.This is not Satisfactory at this time of year as I was very cold and no warm duvet or blankets available.

Very poor in appearance. Running tap that don't turn off. Rooms not very clean. Towel only for one person and not even a bath mat. Food bad and staff not really interested about the guest.. a plus side was we had a great meal in the premier inn across the road. Friendly. Come on Brittania up your game.AnneUnited Kingdom
