Rafters at The Manor House, West End, is hosted by Debbie Williamson, owner of Broadway Manor Cottages. Broadway Manor Cottages was established in October 2006 and manages five award winning holiday cottages (including Rafters) in Broadway.

Property info

Rafters is an award-winning apartment located on the first floor of a Cotswold Manor House which dates back to the 16th century. The Manor House was built in 1549 by the Sheldon family when the land was sold by the Abbots of Pershore following the Dissolution of the Monastries and was totally refurbished in the mid 1980s. Rafters, once a granary, is a fully self-contained apartment on the first floor of the house above a converted coach house. Rafters is an award winning apartment with views across the surrounding grounds towards Broadway Tower. The apartment has a spacious vaulted oak-beamed sitting dining room, fully equipped kitchen and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (Velux windows all have blinds blackout Velux blinds in the bedroom windows). Located in the grounds are 4 further award winning holiday cottages. Guests are invited to enjoy the surrounding grounds of several acres including the old manorial stew pond, stream and ornamental fish pond which all attract a wide variety of wildlife. The nearest pub and a wide range of excellent restaurants, independent shops, galleries, and tea and coffee shops are just a few minutes' walk from Rafters.

Broadway, 'Show Village of England' and 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' is located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Cotswold Way National Trail and Wychavon Way cross our land and there are a number of other footpaths in the vicinity with some great walks to enjoy through some of the most beautiful countryside in England. For the more energetic we can arrange cycle hire or bring your own bikes along (secure bike storage available). Rafters is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village.
