A very friendly reception. We enjoyed our stay.
There was nothing we did not like
owner breakfast hospitality heating view from room
small towels carparking
The location is excellent and the staff very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable with balcony; and the comforting murmur of the Lyn River put me to sleep.
Very friendly welcome, and information Great location with view over river and sea Comfortable beds Delicious breakfast
On street parking, with two hour limit
Staff were great, and friendly. Ideally located for the SW Coast Path
The room was lovely, the view beautiful so restful , the village pub did great food
There was nothing to dislike from the friendly welcome overall cleanliness and willingness to please ,good choices of breakfast (veggies Inc) ideal place to rest your head after a day out
Right on the main seafront road. Easy access for old or infirm folks to the main parking road in an otherwise very steep hilly location. Built in café for your breakfast.
This was an excellent location, an excellent room and wonderful helpful staff.
no hot water late evening
The balcony is a particular benefit which allows fantastic views of the scenery
Room was slightly smaller than expected
No facilities for cases
In a very convenient location overlooking the river. Good size comfortable room balcony to front and large en-suite, ample breakfast.
Not much for price
The location and food served at breakfast was excellent
The lady owner Debbie was a little bit abrupt when I asked for some ICE for the room. We don't do Ice was the reply !! Strange as they offer alcohol with lunches during the day. Otherwise a nice 2 night stay here

Narrow Beds & greasy walls at bedhead
Great location, room had a terrific view. Staff very helpful and a very good breakfast. Highly recommend.
The location of the Riverside is a big plus with your balcony overlooking the river. The hostess was really cheerful and very friendly. The breakfast was all you needed for a good start to the day. Good value and I really enjoyed my stay.

Friendliness, warm welcome, location/sea view, balcony
Room could have been a little larger, no room for easy chairs
location comfortable bed well heated
price compared to nearby hotel size of room smoke from smokers on balcony next door came in through our windows and made the room smell. Breakfast dining room too small
Great location. Great breakfast.
wonderful relaxing stay, owner could not be more helpful , superb view from room, breakfast was brilliant ,had a lovely break would certainly stay again
Location is fabulous - we had a lovely sea view, and at this time of year parking was easy. Lovely river walks from the property, and a couple of good places to eat. Powerful hot shower for easing post-exercise aches. Landlady was very welcoming and cheerful.
I like a bath sheet, so the bath towels were a bit small. Breakfast was mostly fine - but please, a nice pork sausage rather than a dry bread one (a common English habit I find odd - why spoil the ship for a haporth of tar?)
Debbie was lovely we had a lovely breakfast the room was lovely with the balcony had a great stay there hope to go back in the future x
