The hotel is near the Station. The staff are very helpful and friendly!! The room was lovely, clean and quite !! And the breakfast was excellent. I would defiantly stay there again!!! I highly recommend this Hotel.
We stayed for just one night having two rooms one for ourselves and another for our daughter after a wedding at Thornton Manor on Friday 29/8/2014. The rooms are spacious and comfortable as are the beds. There is everything you need in them including tea and coffee making facilities which are essential we think. We had breakfast there and found that everything was available to us and it was well cooked. The staff are helpful and went out of their way to help in any way they could if need be. We had no problems whatsoever and would certainly stay there again, we would recommend your hotel to anyone staying over that side of the river. We went to the Pesto restaurant earlier in the week and found the food was excellent besides being good value for money. Thank you to everyone at the Dibbinsdale Inn we look forward to seeing you again soon. Maureen, Patrick and Marie
Quiet. Close to Mersey Rail for travel to Liverpool. Food.
The location for my purpose is ideal and the staff are excellent and very friendly. As always the food was of a very high standard
The only criticism is the lack of a second chair in the double bedroom
Breakfast was absolutely wonderful as was the tapas style restaurant in the evening. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge and sightseeing advice
There was an initial problem with booking in but that was resolved while we enjoyed a complimentary drink
very friendly staff, good atmosphere, nice food.
Conveniently located just 5 mins from friends we stopped to visit en route for a 2 week tour of Scotland. There were loads of diners happily sitting both in and outdoors and the food looked really good. We had a dinner date with our friends so just had the really hearty breakfast next morning. Lovely green area just past built up area.
will have to really think .... 0.!
Beautiful hotel. Lovely rooms. Even the singles were spacious. Wonderful crisp, white bedding. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, even to the point of Graeme, the assistant manager taking us to the station when our car broke down and my mobility isn't good. We felt welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely stay again.
Small issue with sketchy room cleaning. But this was resolved instantly and was brought up to an excellent standard. NB, this only applied to one of our rooms. The other was fine.
Excellent restaurant, friendliest manager I have ever come across
At the price, nothing!
Just fitted my needs in what I was looking for.
Room was very hot, but I was supplied with a fan which made a big difference.
LOCATION STAFF BREAKFAST PARKING
SMALL ROOM/BATHROOM. HARDLY ANY DRAWER SPACE. DRINKING GLASSES SH. BE IN ROOM.
We spent 5 nights there: easely to go to Hoylake( the Open 2014) The staff was excellent and the food a very good value for money. For the rooms,it's all dépends the one you stay.
Full English breakfast
Nothing springs to mind
Appearance far better than photo suggested. This is not pub accommodation, more like a quality hotel.
The food (BUT see my dislikes), the location and the friendliness of the staff. The bed - very comfortable.
The food - I, as would many, expected a more traditional menu. We don't all want Italian tapas. I booked a hotel room, not a bed in an Italian tapas bar. Breakfast. Could have better and healthier fruit and cereal options - no Weetabix, Shredded Wheat or grapefruit, for example. It would also have been nice if the, very friendly, staff had more idea on how to serve food - and remove used crockery as courses are finished. The room was small, but OK. That said, the bathroom was disgracefully small and uncomfortable to use.
Cleanliness and furniture, etc, in room all in good order.
the food menu limited to Italian dishes.
The Staff. and room.
position of room as it was a bit noise.
Food an location - close to station
The bathroom was minute!!!
The hotel is ideally located for a next morning short drive to the ferry at Birkenhead. The pub area seems excellent and while I was unable to sample the food (arriving a little late) the restaurant area looked inviting and the menu looked interesting. The single room was quite small but it had everything I could need and I slept comfortably.
The smell of smoke in the room corridor - no fault of the staff but it was clear that someone had been smoking recently in the corridor just down from my room.
Staff very pleasant and helpful very polite
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent choice of breakfast menu, clean and comfortable bedroom. Excellent location.
Breakfast coffee was a little too strong.
The people there are very friendly and helpful, especially Becky.
I wish i can stay there longer.....
The breakfast menu.
The compressor or air conditioning unit outside my bedroom window (no. 12) running all night. So bad it even made the fire exit door on the landing vibrate!!
Good breakfast selection.
Noisy bathroom fan. Handbasin not clean.
Friendly athmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful...
I thought it was a Little bit pricey for a night..
