Great location for central Glasgow
Staff were nice and friendly
Went for a weekend with friends, they were in a double room, we had a superior double room and our room was half the size and no where near as nice, not amusing!
Location Staff pleasant
Nothing for vegetarians at breakfast, most places of your calibre have at least some quorn sausages Junior suite very cramped...would have been better left one big room
The shower was the best I've ever had! Champagne bar was a lovely setting.
Furniture in room could have been of a higher standard.
they liked the location of the hotel.bed was great and showere.
He did not like the fact that the TV in the sitting room did not work the house coats that they had were dirty and grubby and the noise from the elvis impersonator kept them awake and when they phoned down to complain some one was to call them back still waiting !.on check out they again complaind and again they were told that some one would call them to discuss there complaint and yet again nothing. I am very disappointed at the way the hotel deals with complaints it seems they think the best policy is to just ignore them and they will go away. I used your site to book this hotel and I am bitterly disappointed at the way my son and his partner were treated.
Location of the hotel. Value for money. Helpful staff. Good breakfast facility.
Amazing room clean and tidy stylish friendly staff Big bed time out time was decent 12.00pm
Too hot in room. bed not very comfortable
The decor was lovely. The Champgne Bar was a good touch too!
Unfortunately there was a giant fan outside our window which didn't stop all night, double gazing might have muffled it a bit!
Very plush and welcoming, staff were very helpful and happy. Great location.
Lovely, quiet spacious room on the fourth floor with a large bathroom & the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast & dinner were good, and staff friendly & efficient. Convenient location for city centre
The hotel is very popular for functions and consequently can be very noisy.
Very central position, old style ambience with modern comfort , very comfortable and stylish room and bed
Not clear where to have breakfast, ended up going to Cafe' nero just in front of the hotel WiFi free only for a limited amount of time, after which one has to buy time
A really grand hotel in a great location, 1 minute from trains and 15 minutes by bus or taxi from airport, right in the centre. Excellent room, generous breakfast.
Check in a bit slow.no other complaints.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was clean with lovely fluffy towels. Television worked without a hitch and two lovely wine glasses had we chosen to have a drink.
The bedroom was cold and the radiator was controlled by the hotel. When I phoned to say the room was cold I was told that the heating came on at various times throughout the day and was on a timer system. They brought me up a small convector heater which was not any good as the room was large. I went to bed for a heat. The tea and coffeemaker tray a bit on the sparse side having only two of each, would have thought an hotel like this could have been more generous. The buffet room for breakfast was too small. Five people and it was crowded. We found the entrance to the hotel was very dull as was the reception area.
This was an excellent stay in Glasgow, Staff were superb, the location was spot on. For a short stay in Glasgow I would stay here again no problem!
very friendly staff
cost of breakfast
Location and high standard
Very slow lifts
Ease of checking in and out with friendly, helpful staff on reception. Benedicte, in particular, was a star.
Absence of free WiFi - that's a bit mean these days.
I arrived late due to hold-ups on Virgin Trains but room service provided a hot meal even though the time for last orders had passed.
Location was excellent as was the friendliness of the staff. Overall the hotel was excellent.
Hotel fantastic and lovely staff
Only stayed one night and left very early in morning ! So convenient for an early train
Didn't get long enough to enjoy
The staff were very pleasant
I didn't like having to go down to the restaurant for breakfast as the lighting was bad going downstairs as I have night blindness also I had trouble walking around the restaurant as all tables were close together. 2. I didn't like that the staff kept going into our room as we didn't have a do not disturb sign so we're only seconds checked into our room my other half was in bed a member of staff came in to fix the shower head in the bathroom and the next morning house keeping came into our room while we were asleep in bed 3. The floor we were on was too noisy people kept walking up and down the corridor and would stop outside our room for a chat and a laugh
Suite was quite small, bathroom shower wasn't great.
