Everything, it was very clean, beds were very comfortable, there was lots of coffee/tea facilities as well as a fully functional kitchen with all the utensils you would need. Great shower as well as lots of complimentary toiletries and hair products.

Hinds Head is not in Chorley, but on the edge of Charnock Richard. There are no nearby shops or other facilities. But that is what you expect in a country pub. There were locals both eating and having a quiet drink in the bar. So there was good atmosphere. The roads are not too busy for walking and we enjoyed that but do not expect to be entertained in the area. It was wintry when we were there so we enjoyed sitting beside the cosy coal fire. The beer garden will be lovely during the summer.

It was an overnight stay to attend a funeral nearby. The man on reception was so helpful in telling us of a shortcut to the crematorium. His name was Adam.
Sam in the dining room gave great and friendly service. Thank you to them both.

Chorley has a good market and a Booths supermarket.
Chorley has a good market and a Booths supermarket. There's a memorial to WWI pals' battalion. The last time I went there are a Morris dancing festival, and the local record shop was celebrating Record Store Day.
It's a gem of a town. although I thought that the meat and potato pie I bought in the market wasn't that good.

It's a well run spotlessly clean overnight stop and convenient for Preston town which is just one junction away northbound on the M6 Access from the Southbound direction is tricky in that you have to pass the service area and double back to the northbound lane. Chorley itself has nothing of interest unless you live there.

Chorley is a historic market town offering facilities for a diverse range of interests . Since I last visited it has continued to grow its facilities for modern requirements such as shopping and good transport facilities. Sports facilities are diverse and of good quality with opportunities for everything from golf to fishing . You are never far from a range of walks in beautiful countryside or a walk alongside a canal which has its own charm. Cafes abound offering everything from a simple cup of tea to an array of beautiful home made cakes whilst pubs offer great value meals in a family environment
Exterior tidy good car park ample parking spaces. Reception clean, drinks machine coffee etc payment by card, complimentary water, leaflets for local area etc. Room clean adequate storage and hanging space. Bathroom clean, bath with shower over, towels. Comfortable bed, t.v. complementary tea, coffee, milk, chocolate and single biscuit per guest.
Overall a nice hotel for overnight stay or work would recommend. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the good.
The room was clean tidy.kept as best as it can be. Loved how there was a little village type area. Very unique. The staff were brilliant, so helpful and pleasant i cannot fault them at all. The food was great and well presented. The hotel main lobby and residence lounge was so lovely. The location of the hotel was stunning i am already planning on coming back.
What a beautiful little place! I stayed with a friend for a Christmas party at a hotel down the road and it was great to head back there afterwards and relax. It smelt fresh and clean when we walked in. There were lots of home comforts and nice little touches such as the toiletries in case we’d forgotten anything and the sweets left out on the kitchen side!
We were checked in by a very friendly, helpful young lady called Neive. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and were served by Bobby and Neive who were most helpful. The accommodation was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this Hotel for an overnight stay in Chorley
Very good accommodation,
A bit dated.But very clean
Shower worked fine.
Italian restaurant next door very good.
Reasonable prices.good food.
Will be stopping here again when in area.
Breakfast very good. Toast,cereals,fruit.
Milk in fridge means not looking for shop .
A lot to recommended
Just simply one of the best places I've stayed , and I've been in a few with working all over the North West.
Clean ,comfy plenty of choice for food, bonus of a great view from the window., Heating you controlled yourself..
I'd definitely stay here again.
Exactly as advertised with a great atmosphere and smiley, polite staff. After searching the area for a one night stopover The Hinds Head was great value, very comfy and an above average restaurant was the perfect choice.
Inglewood is perfect if you want privacy and flexibility. It's room only, but the room was spacious, comfortable and relaxing. The location is very central, and is ideal for most areas of Chorley and neighbourhood.
