The road up to the accommodation is quite steep and with a few very sharp bends. This was already pointed out to us in the owners write up as a possible problem which a few people found difficulty with. We did not have any problems with this.

Lovely little town on the river in a beautiful area with great walks and outdoor activities.
We usually try to eat at Fouzis at least once when visiting. Great Italian restaurant.
Great walk to Trevor along the canal, then lunch at the old chapel across the road, when youve walked across the aquaduct. About 5 miles each way but on the flat. Also walk to Horseshoe Falls in the opposite direction, just a couple of miles each way.
We were lucky with the weather but sways best to take a raincoat!

Charming little town on the River Dee with loads of...
Charming little town on the River Dee with loads of attractions from the Llangollen canal to hill walking. Right in the heart of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site, so a very interesting and historical place. Not enough time to visit everything, so would like to return.
Lovely B&B, conveniently located right down the hill from Llangollen Wharf and across the street from the train station. Our room (Room 3), which was at the back of the building, was amazingly quiet. Very comfy bed, fluffy pillows, beautifully decorated room. Delicious breakfast brought to the room every morning (croissant, fresh berries, yogurt, granola, toast, orange juice, hot drinks). Olivia is a wonderful host--very welcoming and helpful with luggage, local information, etc. A wonderful place to stay!
Panorama cottages are outside of Llangollen via a narrow, one lane road. The views of the mountain and valley are beautiful. The kitchen and family room are good size. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary items; we cooked our own meals most nights. We enjoyed staying at home and eating with the entire family with these fantastic views. A hiking trail is just behind the cottages. The overall value for the cottage is great ! The host Richard is most helpful.
It was a well looked after apartment, clean and well decorated. It was warm when we came in of an evening, also you could lower or higher heating to what you wanted.
We liked the time spent thinking about how the space was used.
It was central to shops, transport, activities, eateries and more. There were lovely walks close to Llangollen centre or further afield.
Ourselves never met the hosts but the things wrote in the visitors book were good 👍.
Modern decor, clean and bright. It was absolutely perfect - would highly recommend!
We were staying in Llangollen for a family wedding on Llangollen railway. The hotel is a 3 minute walk away, so was just perfect.
Our daughters LOVED the bunk beds in our room and the river view was stunning to wake up to.
Breakfast was included and was absolutely lovely! Thanks to the weather, we even got to sit on the terrace over looking the river.
Such a well presented cottage with some lovely finishing touches that really made it feel both welcoming but with a little touch of luxury and dog friendly! Perfect location for exploring all that Llangollen and the beautiful surrounding countryside has to offer with great canal walks on the doorstep. Despite being a stones throw from the town it was very quiet at night. The use of the parking permit is a really nice addition.
The room was excellent, a lovely comfortable king-size bed. Both the room and the bathroom were hygenically clean. Plenty of tea making sachets available, even a jar full of mint humbugs in the room.
The breakfast was delicious, and was plentiful.
The hotel is in an ideal location for the town of Llangollen, a short walk away.
I would definitely choose to stay in this hotel again should I visit Llangollen in the future.
Great location, clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The owners made contact with us via booking.com app and email, check in was easy, there was parking right outside. We will definitely be returning to Llangollen Town House, thank you for a wonderful stay! A refreshing change to be able to book a whole house rather than just a hotel room for twice the price.
Our beautifully furnished suite in Gamelin above the Llangollen marina just five minutes walk from the town centre had both front and back windows which revealed glorious views of scenic mountains. The quality of the accommodation was bettered only by the generous hospitality of Mayuri who unobtrusively provided advice and a sequence of unexpected tasty offerings
The location is ideal for a night out around Llangollen, the staff are very friendly and prices cheaper than some of the nearby pubs. The jewel in the crown is the amazing cooked Welsh Breakfast, the quality of the produce just jumps of the plate and it is cooked fresh to order and was the best breakfast I have ever had while staying over in many hotels in the UK.
Location was amazing...much more than expected.
The hotel is the opposite to a travel lodge....an really quiet at night. Food an drink was a bit expensive for what it was but then I love weatherspoons!
Everything is forgiven because of the Location.
An a lovely canal side walk to llangollen..45 mins
Great welcome: all needs considered, even including cold water in the fridge when needed. Room was comfortable with refreshments provided; breakfast delicious. Llangollen is a lovely town with lots of activities. We enjoyed the aqueduct boat trip, Plas Newydd house, Fouzis for tea.
Trisha & Dave were wonderfully hospitable, welcoming hosts. Large, comfortable room. Walking distance to the centre of Llangollen and dinner options. Breakfast was delicious and generously provided. Plenty of on-site safe parking. Enjoyed our 2 nights here.
Every member of staff were polite, friendly and attentive. They were a credit to the hotel and could not have been more helpful. The surroundings and setting in Llangollen was perfect. The bar and restaurant facilities were good and we had lovely meals.
Cottage is central placed in Llangollen. Clean cottage, comfortable beds, outside space, free parking.
Reasonably priced.
Nice little snug to relax and read in.
We had a surprise because we got vouches towards our breakfast.
Would definitely return.
The hotel was on a large property just on the edge of town, lots of parking and easy to find. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Town was just a short drive or walk away. Friendly and helpful staff. Would return.
Amazing hotel, junior suite was fantastic, great balcony, what a view, evening meal was delicious and breakfast was excellent, staff so friendly and helpful, one of the best places we have stayed in and cant wait to come back
