The Old Town Tbilisi has the look and feel of a modern European city. Outside of that area, there are quite a few nice areas, but also some telltale reminders of a post-Soviet Republic. EU flags fly everywhere. Stores are modern, convenient and plentiful as are traditional sidewalk bakeries and shops. Cha-cha is a local grappa that gets passed around for free a lot. Wines are consistently good, no fluctuation in quality like a lot of vintners from Eastern Europe or Australia. Clay pot aging a local tradition. Driving culture is sensible and people are confident and friendly. Read up on local cuisine and make sure you try the lamb. Nice Small City for a weekend retreat, however if you want to extend the stay, the explore nearby cities, and ample options available to explore from Beautiful City Views with rich history to mountains and snow on the other end. Food is good, and if you try local food made by locals in remote areas of Georgia, i am sure you will remember it for a very long time. Tbilisi is a nice city with interesting buildings old and new. Good restaurants with very good local wines. People are friendly and we felt safe. In general is not expensive , good hotels don’t need to be expensive. There’s a good selection of things to see like the monastery and things to do like wine tasting. Great food and wine options, however the city is quite dirty and there is lots of graffiti. People drive like mad here as well. Worth a visit, but maybe for 5 days at most. If you want to stay longer it would probably be best to rent a car and drive out of the city to explore the rest of the country.

My son was fascinated by the stairs going up on the 2nd floor, he enjoys gardening so he loved the grapes in the yard. The location is perfect, just in the center of the city, We would just walk to the city attractions, no car needed. The staff were very nice and helpful, they met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, and arranged a tour to Kakheti for us. They helped us with PCR tests. If we decide to visit Georgia again we are definitely coming back to this place.

They arranged my transfer from and to the airport and helped me book a tour during my stay. I learnt so much about the culture and history of Georgia talking to them, it was much better than a standard hotel. Nana is the best cook and the morning breakfast was delicious. Location is ideal, 5 minutes walk to stores and supermarkets. You'll need a taxi to visit the old Tbilisi. I'd happily book with them again if I returned to Tbilisi
