Glyfada belongs on the south coast of Attica. Extremely popular for the warm atmosphere, the rich commercial center, the lively entertainment, and the prime waterfront location. The municipality has an area of 25.366 km2 and it is described as the head point of the Athens Riviera. Glyfada is connected to the center of Athens via two main avenues (Poseidonos Avenue and Vouliagmenis Avenue). The tram line goes across the seaside next to Poseidonos Avenue until the main square of Athens, Syntagma. Another option is the metro which has the nearest station Hellinikon, 15 minutes away by bus from the main square of Glyfada.
