Our company Ma Maison Y&R owns four luxury apartments in Athens. We are Yannis and Rena, "fellow travelers" for the last twenty years. Four years ago we decided to do something that we love very much, through BOOKING. The Greek word "ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ=hospitality" is of a particular importance in the Greek culture. It’s a compound word from "ΦΙΛΩ=LOVE" and "ΞΕΝΟΣ=GUEST " and refers to the act of nestling and caring of a guest by the host. It was an institution for the ancient Greeks to welcome and take care of the guests at their home. They believed particularly in the idea of hospitality and regarded it as a moral duty and a sacred rule of the gods (Xenios Zeus was the protector of the guests). They offered them bath and sleep and they greeted them with gifts. The host and the guest were linked with friendly ties, which where inherited to their descendants. This is our inheritance. It will be an honor to host you.

Downtown Loft N° 2 is a unique 50m² loft overlooking Technopolis, 200m from the Kerameikos metro station, a breath away from the archaeological sites of Athens. We create feelings and memories for you. Hospitality isn’t about accommodation only. It’s about going above and beyond in every aspect. This is an open plan apartment consisted by one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. The bedroom can be separated through very sophisticated plexiglas sliding doors that will ensure your privacy if needed. The bathroom is separated by a modern glass door. Sleep on Egyptian cotton sheets, lift the electric sunshade and enjoy the sunset, relax in the comfortable sofa watching satellite TV, plan the next day with our suggestions that you will find on our provided tablet. Neighborhood info

Gazi is ideal for discovering Athens because of its ideal location in the heart of the city. It is a very safe and vibrant neighborhood with many shops to cover every need. From cafes, restaurants, bars, music venues to theaters and museums, Gazi is the neighborhood that covers everything. At the same time, you can walk around the center of Athens as everything is within walking distance. The archaeological site of Kerameikos is 200 meters away, the Ancient Agora and Monastiraki 1.5 km away, while the Acropolis can be reached in 25 minutes, following a unique route through all the main sights of Athens.
