Our company Ma Maison Y&R owns three luxury apartments in Athens. We are Yannis and Rena, "fellow travelers" for the last twenty years. Three years ago we decided to do something that we love very much, through BOOKING. The Greek word "ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ=hospitality" is of a particular importance in the Greek culture. It’s a compound word from "ΦΙΛΩ=LOVE" and "ΞΕΝΟΣ=GUEST " and refers to the act of nestling and caring of a guest by the host. It was an institution for the ancient Greeks to welcome and take care of the guests at their home. They believed particularly in the idea of hospitality and regarded it as a moral duty and a sacred rule of the gods.(Xenios Zeus was the protector of the guests). They offered them bath and sleep and they greeted them with gifts. The host and the guest were linked with friendly ties, which where inherited to their descendants. This is our inheritance. It will be an honor to host you.

A 54m² luxury penthouse fully renovated,30m² deck with views of Acropolis-Lycabetus,located 200mts from Kato Patissia metro.Sleep on egyptian cotton linens,watch cable tv,lift the tent and have a drink watching the stars and Acropolis brightly lit. Hospitality isn’t accommodation only.It’s about going above and beyond in every aspect.We create feelings and memories for you.If you want all these,this is your choice. It will be an honor to host you. Your privacy is guaranteed as it is the last apartment of the building on the 5th floor (the elevator goes up to the 4th floor and you need to take 12 stairs only to the top). It is consisted by one spacious bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and one big living room connected with the kitchen. Let’s see the details: •Strong wifi-high speed internet for you, •Centralized heat/cold air system connected through channels which you control remotely, •Solar water heater for immediate and continuous use of hot water, •Security door, electric rolling shutters controlled remotely, smoke detector, fire extinguisher, first aid kit,

Neighborhood info

The Kato Patissia district is ideal for discovering Athens due to its ideal position (even distance from north and south) without the disadvantages of being in the centre. The possibilities offered for transportation are plenty and can cover every desire. You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network (10 euros). Also from the port of Piraeus there is a direct link through the Metro network. If you decide to take a taxi you will need 26 minutes from/to the airport and 15 minutes from/to the port of Piraeus. The Metro is at 200 meters. The map of the Metro network is available in our tablet and covers the entire city. You will need about 15 minutes to get anywhere in the historical centre. Acharnon Street is 100 metres from home. From there, buses leave on a very frequent base for Monastiraki, Thissio and Constitution Square as well as to North(Kifissia) and South(Piraeus).The daily travel card for all means of transportation costs 4,5 euros and the five-day costs 9 euros. If you have a car the National Highway is 500 meters away with easy access to both directions (North/South) while Acharnon, Liossion and Patission streets will take you downtown in 10 minutes.
