This is a perfectly positioned 2 bedroom flat, in the very heart of Athens, a stone’s throw away from the Acropolis and the fabulous Acropolis museum. The area is bustling with activity and is joyous, cosmopolitan and lively, with both local residents and tourists happily intermingling. Cafes, stylish bistros and restaurant are right around the corner. Despite the lively night scene, there are many quiet corners around the area and lovely walks to be had away from the hustle and bustle.
Acropolis neighborhood is the area just under the Acropolis rock and although it is in the heart of many archaeological attractions is not an area only for tourists. Locals and tourists are still living together here unlike in other European historic centers. We are a family of three and we live in the area the last 5 years, and although we’ve always been living in city center areas this time we all feel lucky and thankful for having such a beautiful and unique everyday experience. One of the things I personally love is the multi-age, multi–style, multi-family status, multi-financial status character of the area. Furthermore it is an absolutely safe neighborhood . You will meet many local families with their children playing on the pedestrians that are usually full of musicians and various performers. There is a small playground just 100m from the apartment and a big playground and park in 1300m and in 200 m there is Filoppapou Hill perfect for pic nick and panoramic views of the city.
