Retropolitan is a new living experience for travelers who want to have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, without getting dressed or leaving the room! If you want to blend in the local busy and interesting neighborhood of Neapolis, Retropolitan Laskareos is the place for you. Retropolitan Laskareos is an accommodation set in the centre of Athens, just 10' min walking distance from the Archaiological Museum, 15' min walking distance from Kolonaki and 25' walking distance from Monastiraki and Plaka. At you doorstep you can find the bus station “Laskareos” and take a ride to Synagma square, Ermou shopping street or to Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. You can also take a ride to Votanikos and Keramikos. Bus tickets cost 1,40 euros for 90' min use or 4,50 euros for 24 hours use. Metro stations Panepistimio M2 and Ambelokipi M3 are both 12 min walking distance. Taxi is a quite easy, convenient and cheap way to move around the city center, especially, after dark. You can download the taxi app “thebeatapp”, or just raise your hand and grab a yellow taxi, anytime.

Retropolitan Laskareos is located in the heart of Neapoli. About the neighborhood Neapoli Neapoli is a historic district of Athens, located on the northern slope of Lycabettus hill. The name derives from the fact that it was the new city of Athens on mid-19th century when it was starting to become urbanized. It stretches between Lycabettus hill and Strefi hill. Neapoli is the birthplace quarter of letters, arts and culture. The neighborhood’s architecture has an identity with many neoclassical buildings and small urban squares with pine trees. A great cultural background with theaters and cinemas and the book's haunt. Most publishers have their headquarters in this area. Nearby are the most famous bookstores of Athens. Neapoli successfully combines family, youth, and student style. The forest of Lycabettus, Strefi Hill and the little forest of Agios Nikolaos create a cool and healthy environment. The beautiful green squares of Neapolis, Panathenaia, Asklipios, Tasos Vournas and Independence complete the romantic and idyllic landscape.
