We had a wonderful stay at Elite Hotel in Rhodes! The staff were very accomodating and helped us plan our travel to our planned activities. The rooms were great and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was lovely and included a wide variety of foods. We were travelling with friends so the common area (with a bar) was a great spot for us all to meet. We would absolutely stay at Elite again.

Great Medieval town with a touch of Ancient Bysantine and Ottoman atmosphere. Probably the best medieval walls and moat you can visit in Southern Europe. Lots of restaurants in the Old Town and small craft shops. Beware the public buses to and from the airport - this is a nightmare of throngs trying to get on or off board with suitcases in the smallest buses without air-conditioning, while the driver chooses on whim whether to stop or not at the stops on the way. Take a taxi, their prices are fixed and quite acceptable.

Rhodes Town has some outstanding places to visit - the Jewish Museum and memorial; the Museum of Modern Art; the Aquarium; the Plaace of the Grand Master of the Knights Hospitallers; the Archaeological Museum. Wandering the streets of the Old Town is pretty mesmerising. Virtually every restaurant we visited - and we went to many - had wonderful Greek cuisine.
We stayed in the Old Town and went to the beach most days (the main beach area was about a 25 minute walk, which was fine to do in early June, provided one had hats, water and took advantage of shade en route. We also sometimes stopped in a cafe for a drink en route. The water in the sea in early June was the best I have encountered in my life. Heaven!

Great monuments, charming narrow streets, lots of flowers, excellent cuisine. But it's best to enjoy it all in the morning, before the crowds flood the streets, or late in the evening. In the city, I was most impressed by the Palace of the Grand Masters and a walk along the former moat between the walls.

Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day.
Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day. The archeology and the museums are the main attraction. The bus service is superb and within walking distance of the old town. The weather in May was hot at around 28° and at times quite humid.
The downside has to be the cobbled streets which are difficult to walk on.

Everything was wonderful.
Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Perhaps the reason is big number of tourists who want to visit different parts of the island.
This is a lovely hotel in all respects from which to enjoy Rhodes. The location is excellent for visits to the Old City, restaurants, and beaches. The rooms are spacious and the ample breakfast in the courtyard is a great way to start the day. Best of all is the intimate atmosphere and the excellent advice provided by the very friendly owners - for example, we were tipped off to a special outdoor evening concert at the Grand Palace, very nice restaurants with local cuisine, and the best ice cream shop in town.
How nice, attentive and helpful the staff were.
We were able to leave our bags after check out, and come back and shower before catching our flight, at no extra cost.
Breakfast was very good value for money (we had this included in our room rate) and included a juice, coffee and item off the menu.
Nice sized airy room, with lovely sea view from balcony and within a 10 minute walk to Old Town and Rhodes Town and less than 5 to the beach.
Lovely hotel, would stay again if I ever came back to Rhodes.
This has to be the best location for a hotel in Rhodes town, and at a very reasonable cost. Its at the tip of the island, surrounded by beach and the open sea. There are lovely beach side restaurants close by, and its a pleasant short walk to the old town. The hotel has a swimming pool and bar area. The breakfast selection is excellent and the staff are very helpful. We had a city view room, but I'm sure its worth paying the extra for a sea view room. The sunsets are amazing.
The location was incredible, the roof top deck and gardens beautiful, The rooms clean and comfortable, And most of all the owners were beyond hospitable and accommodating. Manos went out of his way to meet our every need and help us out when we felt overwhelmed by the newness of Greece. Sambica greeted us every morning with a coffee and a smile and everyone made us feel like a cherished part of the family. It was the best introduction to Greek life we could have hoped for.
Love the pool, the breakfast... very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to Old Town. Nice bar.... We had stayed a few years ago and thought it was so great, we didn't even consider anywhere else this time. We normally love small, boutique type hotels, and OK... Best Western isn't that.... but it's SO EASY.... because you know it's just going to be exactly what you want. We use it as a stopover either to or from Symi.
The location could not be better. You are only about 2 city blocks from the bus station and only about 5 city blocks from the Antonio Gate of the Old Town. A perfect spot for exploring the city of Rhodes. The room was adequate and the internet worked VERY well. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. Staff was very helpful and they always had a smile for you. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if/when I return to Rhodes.
The staff were really great and accommodating. The breakfast was also very good. Rooms and hotel were super clean and there's a convenient and affordable supermarket attached to the hotel. Beds were also very comfy and our room had a good view and balcony. In peak season it would fit its 4 star rating. Good location near old town.
Wifi has very good coverage but struggles with video conference calls (but still possible)
This is a very special historic hotel. Elena was very sweet and helpful. The room I booked was the lowest price room and it was amazing so I can just imagine how nice the other rooms are. I hope that I have the opportunity to come back to Old Town Rhodes and I will definitely stay here if I do. The grounds are beautiful. It’s located kind of off by itself so wear some comfortable walking shoes, but do stay there.
Excellent hotel ,very nice staff, Rich, delicious breakfast , dinner, all inclusive hotel , cocktails and a mini bar are also included in the price . Especially thanks to Paulien working at the reception. She was always smiling and helpful. She even helped organize an all-day trip to the island. The location is very good , close to the old town. The view is beautiful from the room, the sunset is fantastic .
This Hotel is an oasis in busy Rhodes Town. Our room was clean and compact, with good views of the waterfront and day trip port area. Fridge while small kept everything cold. Responsive air-conditioning helped us stay cool. Family friendly hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast included freshly baked spinach pie and pastries. Hotel is in the shopping precinct. Be ready to shop.
Easy check in and we were "upgraded" on our room (not quite sure what to, as the room looked like the photo of the room we booked). Room very comfy, everything worked and well laid out with a nice balcony that got the sun in the afternoon/early evening. The hotel itself and the corridors/stairways are very clean. It was easy to walk there into Rhodes Town Centre and to the coast.
Awesome friendly and helpful staff. Attention for our baby was awesome. Everybody do the best they can, to make perfect holidays.
Hotel location pretty is pretty nice. You can choose beach. City centre is not far and you can walk throught nice local shops and cafes.
Nice food. You can choose from different dishes. Special thanks for the pizza guy ;) awesome homemade pizza :)
Everything was so perfect. The manager Stella made sure we had whatever we wanted at every step of the way. The courtyard was so tranquil! Breakfast every morning was such a delight. I’m gluten free and once I told them the next morning I had a plethora of GF options. Next time we are in Europe we’re coming back to Rhodes specifically to stay at this hotel.
The hotel was at the best location with walking distance to the old town! It was also right in front of the beach so that was also amazing. The best part was the staff, everyone was exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was really good but keep in mind it is not a buffet-style breakfast. Also there were deck chairs at the pool but not on the beach.
The view from my little deck was great, had cocktails while the sun set. The staff were exceptional and helped me with some travel issues. The evening bartender was great to talk with and learn about Rhodes. This is a great older hotel, away for the tourist crowds. Breakfast was wonderful after my swim in the sea each morning.
Great hotel. So happy with the hotel last year that my partner and I returned this year. Fantastic helpful, friendly staff, excellent value for money, superb breakfast included and good location when visiting Rhodes town. Short walk from historic old town, beach and restaurants. Good size modern clean room.
Excellent location, just a short walk from the centre of old town. Pleasant little en suite room with fan and air-con. Quiet communal garden and roof-top garden. A warm welcome from the hosts - Manos and his family put a lot of effort into running the hotel and looking after their guests.
Everything is great! Hotel workers are very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is very clean, bed linen is very good. The hotel is located in a good location, of the sea close, Old Town of 10 minutes. It was the best hotel in Greece for my whole life. Many thanks to stuff♥️
This is my 3rd stay since being in Greece, and I highly recommend staying here. It is walking distance to Old And new town with shops and and taverners close by. There is a beach about 300 m away. Enjoy your stay. The staff are fantastic Thank you Christina and Dagmah.
Great hotel in the centre of Rhodes Town, close proximity to Elli Beach and the Old Town. Perfect location to explore the island with great bus transport links. Clean room, comfortable bed and god basic coffee facilities. Staff were really welcoming and helpful aswell.
