A lot of stuff to do here. You can stay occupied for a week without even leaving the complex. Gym, tennis and basketball courts, beach, multiple pools, kids area, numerous different restaurants, amphitheater, water park, etc. Everything is nice, runs well.
We really liked the evening shows for the kids in the amphitheater, the staff there are doing a good job.
The food selection is very broad. I did not manage to sample everything in the four days that we were staying there. But I liked everything I tried - the food is universally delicious.
All inclusive is pretty good. All you can eat buffet in multiple restaurants (breakfast, lunch and dinner), plus drinks at the beach bar and probably more stuff that I did not even try.
There is a nice beach on the premise with sand and some rocks to shield it from the waves of the open sea (it was very useful as we were staying during a windy week). There is a lifeguard on duty during the day.
The staff are helpful and polite. The rooms are clean and tidy.

Me and my fianceé recently spent a week at this luxurious resort in Crete and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided top-notch service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.
We got upgrade to Deluxe room with private pool with sea view and that was the icing on the cake. You can choose from many swimming pools including a heated one. Some pools have salty water, we appreciated the adults only zone next to the pool and what can I say..... the cabanas are divine. The resort has very relaxing atmosphere, quiet despite of the resort is relatively large.
The food was delicious, to many variations to choose from. On breakfast I appreciated the coffee, which was made on the bar not automatic machine by myself. Dinner has to many corners with food from pizza, pasta, sea food, greek corner and many more. I especially found the desserts very impressive. I have never seen such high level desserts at hotels.
The cleaning lady did her job very well with attention to details.
Overall, our stay at the Royal Senses Resort & Spa was pure paradise. The combination of stellar accommodations, remarkable service, and gorgeous setting made this one of the most luxurious and memorable vacations we've ever had.

The staff is super friendly and speaks, besides English, French, German and Spanish. Our room was amazing: big and very modern (the light switches were electronic / touch).
The food was good but it could have more variety thoughout the days.

Panormos is quite small town with two small beaches, lots of good restaurants, a great vineyard, Klados, in walking distance with vineyard tours and wine tasting.
The bus to Rethymno takes about 50 minutes and goes from the village every half an hour. Buy your ticket from local shops before you get on though. If you get the inter city bus from Rethymnoto /Heraklion it stops at Parnormo ,unfortunately it does not come into the village and will drop you on the hardshoulder of a busy dual carriage way to cross!

We wanted to chill out and relax on the beach, eat good food, not drive anywhere and just take everything easy and slow. Panormos was perfect for this.
An easy bus ride into Rethymnon if you fancy a much larger town, a winery that we walked to (just as well!) and a little train that took us into the hills. Wonderful :-)

I cannot recommend this property.
I cannot recommend this property. Turkey offers a far superior experience at similar cost and travelling time. I believe the reviews posted are not at all an accurate reflection of the actual experience.

Panormos is a small village, a quiet place where you can find the peace to recharge the batteries. The village is near a national main road, very simple to get to it, it has nice tavernas, especialy to have dinner on a quiet night - Fanari Taverna is a very nice place to eat, good food, medium prices.

Quiet village with many restaurants and small beaches.
Quiet village with many restaurants and small beaches. We have been 5 times over the years and love the ambience of the place. However if you want a disco go elsewhere.
So many good restaurants. Many people return every year, as we now do as an extra holiday.

Panormos is a small touristy village by the sea.
Panormos is a small touristy village by the sea. Lots of hotels and rooms to stay, Nothing really special. The beach is not really worth to visit. The island of Crete has much better and definitely more authentic locations to visit.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The location is quite remote but this didn’t bother us as we had a rental car to get around. We stayed in a room with a private pool but there was also a lot of options for swimming with a number of pools and a beach area to choose from. We tried a few of the restaurants and the food was delicious. We also ate in the tavernas in the local village a short drive away and loved the authentic atmosphere here. The staff were the standout here, all very happy, friendly and helpful.
We have been to Panormo many times over the years, and I can say that here is the place to really feel welcome like at home. Maria and Nikos are super hospitable and eager to share their stories. Since the sea was not calm when we came, we truly appreciated the swimming pool at the hotel. The studio where we stayed was quite spacious (much bigger than others where we stayed in Crete) and super clean. They provided us with a cot for the baby and made sure that we have everything we need. Thank you! We will be back!
Great beautiful appartment, sea view, far from crowded places. There are all the facilities you might need, well isolated room, a lot of kitchen staff.
We had a small trouble with washing machine, as the water was running off, but were using it only once, so it was not a problem for us.
There is a small beach, directly down from the appartment. Rocky, but very beautiful, with chambers where you can hide from the sun.
Nice place, I would definitely book again next time we visit Crete 😇
This property is phenomenal. We were greeted by our house and she was so kind and even let us check in early and had our accommodation ready! We were in a smaller town in Crete, but close enough to walk to a tourist area for dinner, which was only 10 minutes away by foot. It was the perfect location to be out of the very populated areas, but still near accessible places to eat and shop.
Great view of the ocean!
Top class studio, with quality fittings. nice quite location on edge of town just a few minutes walk form a top class restaurant.Beds comfy, shower very modern and nice and hot, staff available during day should you require anything. It says Stylish and it really does lives up to its name.A nice stroll to centre of town with some very good restaurants. Will be my go to place next time we visit area.
The location was very good, close to everything and to the beach. The apartment was spacious with a bedroom and a living room with a couch that could be transformed into a bed and a little kitchenette. Magda was very nice and hospitable, she offered a warm welcome, and she explained everything for the hotel and the area. She also offered to provide an umbrella if we needed for the beach.
beautiful, well designed. the staff, especially Stella, we gave us personalised service and make us feel top priority. all the staff were present. the Villa room is more then amazing. best view. the food, especially the breakfast, is the best we have ever had. very clean facilities. i hope we can spend more time in the hotel. thanks for everything!
A cozy little family run hotel above a pretty fishing village. The hosts are very helpful and went above and beyond for all our needs, thank you! Lovely pool area with snacks and drinks available - great views as well. If you have small children, this is the place for you as they have lots of toys, swings etc. Good value for money.
The apartment was decent size with a seperate bedroom, dining area, and a sitting area. We were on the second floor and had water views out both the living room and the bedroom. Nice covered patio in the front. The location was incredible - walk to everything in the village including several restaurants. Easy parking (October!)
Andreas, Eleftheria and Miri were so kind and helpful with anything we needed.
Our hotel room was very clean and tidy and great value.
Location was great and they had a private parking lot where we could park our car.
AC worked well which was much needed in the heat.
Really nice balcony with a comfortable lounge set.
Calm accomodation, located away from the buzzing resorts in the middle of nature. Extremly nice and helpful host (Mary). Ideally situated for the exploration of the middle of Crete. Amazing Cretan breakfast - prepared freshly - by Mary. Beautiful private bay. Free wifi, private paking place.
Friendliness and hospitality of Manolis and the team is exceptional.
Quality and variety of food in the restaurant is fantastic. The best saganaki in town by far.
Location is ideal with only a short walk to the Beach Lake and Kostas Tavern, right on the beach and Dia discount supermarket.
Overall, we realy enjoyed our stay. The hotel, gardens and general landscaping are beatifull and all common areas were comfortable, spotlessly cleaned and maintained. The food served at the all inclusive restaurant was exceptional and so were all the people we met working at Iberostar.
A very beautiful hotel. You really feel like you are somewhere magical. The room, the staff, the services, everything was perfect. Very good breakfast and lunch. Lots of choices in wine. Relaxing bar with cocktails and more, music nights and smiling and friendly staff always!
The service was extraordinary, the hotel design and maintenance were breathtaking. Food was superb as well - it was clear that a lot of thought was made regarding food options. Staff was very helpful with every request we had, and just didn't want to leave.
Great location in heart of town. Nice size room for a single traveller. Large balcony with great views. Lucy was a great host, nice welcome gifts and helpful advice.
Food is really good here. We didnt go all inclusive, just breakfast and dinner but it was excellent. This is a very nice hotel and its kept spotlessly clean.
Great location in Panorma. Easy walking distance to restaurants and beach. Nearby parking lot for our rental car. Great major road access to travel Crete.
