This select residential neighbourhood quarter of Koukaki/Makrigianni that is both safe and very central to all sites in Athens Skip across the Acropolis ring road (just 30 meters) to the only managed entrances to Filopappou Hill with ample walking trails and archeological interests. Acropolis and Plaka are within 5-8 minutes by foot. Koukaki is a thriving popular urban neighbourhood in Athens because of it’s casual dining, tavernas, bars, green groceries, and markets.
