The staff were exceptionally helpful
staff was very friendly and helpful. They made so much for us even without common language.
We booked a taxi service from the hotel to Tica bus station and driver charged us 300L for 20 min ride. It was ridiculous expencive and we felt cheated. There is no water in the swimming pool at the moment, but they are working to repair the pool again.
Very helpful staff Hot water in wash basin as well as shower Location in centre Secure
No restaurant at hotel and limited choice of places nearby to eat in the evening
Wifi only works down by the reception area. On our last day it did not work at all.. The pool was under construction so you could not use it.
The staff was excellent when requested for help. It's location is great as most places that one would visit are within walking distance, if not it is only a small taxi ride away. The owner, Lourdes, is presently busy with up-grades to the hotel. It is a quite hotel. At my departure I was charged an extra $ 100.00 for use of a fridge. This fridge was requested but then cancelled. Booking.com did not inform the hotel with this cancellation. After speaking to Lourdes all was rectified to my satisfaction. Thank you Lourdes, shame on Booking.com
That the personnel spoke extremely little to no English, therefore it was difficult to communicate. I realize that this is a Spanish speaking country, but for business it would be to their advantage. The restaurant is open a very short time only for brft, so we were never able to use it.
Location feels safe and is near central area with food, shops and banks. Hotel was very clean. Hotel has an outdoor pool.
Hallways echoed noise a lot. Breakfast very limited in hotel. No lift, hotel has three floors.
Laundry was good.
For a tourist it was hopeless, nobody spoke any English so we got no help, no map, nothing. Wifi did not work in bedroom, we had to use it downstairs. The room was very small. The restaurant didn't open in the evening and there were almost no restaurants in the vicinity.
I found the staff mostly friendly and comforting. I like the location of the hotel in relation to the many museums in the area. The breakfast choices were very refreshing and comforting.
It would be nice if there is someone on staff that spoke English sufficiently at least for one shift per day. Depending on where you are in the hotel. The noise from the surrounding area was disturbing especially when the music or announcements were loud and ongoing for a while. Internet access was dependent on the location in the building. I have to move to the 2nd floor for access. The squeaking noises from people shoes in the hallway.
everything was fine I was able to pay cash instead of with my amex card
Taxi service Rooms were clean
No Elevator had to walk up two flights of stairs to room. Air Condition Unit extremely noisy. No Breakfast or nothing to eat only in Cafeteria and they don't open until 645am. Nothing to eat nearby, you have to take ataxi to get ameal.
Very close to the airport, so a good stopover hotel. Comfortable rooms.
The wifi wasn't working anywhere in the hotel.
the staff was very helpful allowing us to leave the car past checkout and holding our bags til we knew whether we would spend extra nights.. referrals for restaurants and personal taxi service..etc ..
The staff was what I liked most here, they were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help me. Perhaps because I am originally from an exotic land in Asia. The room I had was a King, so it was ample in space. The ac worked great. I had a window overlooking the pool. The tv was very good. The bathroom was great with hot water and comfortable to move around. The sheets were cleaned daily and towels changed. The location was not the greatest, plenty of homeless people and shady characters hanging around. A police station right around the corner, but doesn't guaranty safety. Nothing pleasant at night to walk around, but during the day it is filled with businesses and it can be exciting. There are lovely plazas and parks nearby. Excellent pharmacies nearby. The Museum of National Identity was a few blocks away, the church Dolores was around the corners as well. Great swimming pool in the hotel.
No hair dryer. No elevators, had to walk up 6 flights of steps. Nothing nearby to do after 10 P.M. Homeless people and shady characters around the block. The restaurant looks so old and dilapidated, you feel unclean in there. The included free breakfast is so inadequate, I had to always buy extra.
Staff extremely helpful... Rang a taxi for us and ordered in food for us as we arrived late.
Location was worrying for us although we arrived in late so didnt think it was alrite to go walking around at that time and we left early the next day! It was probably ok to walk around during the day!
Everything! Cafe, room, people at reception, pool and kids' area, location. For a North American or Brit travelling on a budget, this is your place in Tegucigalpa - a third of the price of the big chains, located in easy walking distance from the historic city center, with all the facilities you are used to.
Wifi at times had a weak signal.
