Wonderful staff! The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed relaxing on our balcony overlooking the sea and also on the property grounds. It was just what we were looking for after a busy time at Croatia's wonderful parks.
Hotel Jadran is located on the coast 0.6 mi from the center of Rijeka, boasting simply decorated accommodations mostly with a balcony and views of the Kvarner Bay.

Rijeka was incredible. We stayed for 3 days - which we thought was the perfect amount of time to visit everything and also travel to local towns and beaches. Beautiful small town with friendly people and lots of options for restaurants, cafes, and bars. Good transport links to local towns such as Opatija, Krk, and Zagreb, however the buses do get quite crowded.

Rijeka is an industrial city and a port, so only parts of it are picturesque, but it is an interesting place anyway, and was a European capital of culture. The Korzo is a lovely pedestrianised street in the centre with shops and restaurants. There is a long promenade out of the marina which is worth a walk and affords good views of the city and Kvarner bay. I arrived by intercity coach from Zagreb which takes 2.5 hours and costs between £6 and £13, plus £1.30 for each item of large luggage (air conditioned and comfortable). While I was there I travelled by local bus (10A) to two beaches to the east of the city - Sablicevo and one of the many beaches near Kostrena. They are pebbly and clean and the water is lovely - avoid stepping on sea urchins and consider taking beach shoes for swimming. The many beaches near Kostrena are linked by a tarmac pedestrian path above the bays, and it's nice to wander and choose a beach or several, although it is a longish walk all the way along. There are beach bars and toilets at some of these beaches. I would say it's worth getting the bus out in this direction if you have time, it's just a little bit nicer out of the city (and although you're never out of sight of the industrial elements such as the thermoelectric plant, oil refinery, shipyards, it doesn't spoil the experience). To use the local buses you can buy tickets at a kiosk or online but I couldn't work either of these out so I paid in cash (the only option) when I boarded the bus. There are two bus stations - one for intercity coaches (Autobusni Koldvor) and one for local buses (Autotrolej Delta).

A beautiful town, pleasant and hospitable people, wonderful mixture of mediterranean and continental climate, charming mixture of cultural influences. Full of well planted and maintained plants, parks, and gardens. Glorious artistic, technical and cultural history. Industrial heritage exceptional, well preserved and presented.

It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets.
It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets. I mostly enjoyed Trsat Castle, Sablićevo beach and Submarine burger restaurant.
One of the central city locations - Mrtvi kanal - smells bad.
But I think I spent too much time here and I wish I spent more time in Rovinj which was even more amazing.

Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good.
Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good. Location of apartment in relation to public transport also good. Apartment was excellent value as long as you're prepared for the 130 plus stairs up and then down again,
The location is very convenient to reach (on foot or by public transportation) both the center of Fiume (Rijeka) and the Trastski Castle. From the house it is also possible to take the bus with which to reach Abbazia (Opatija), a town along the cost that is very beautiful to visit and where there are lovely little pebble beaches where you can swim in a clear, transparent sea. In the kitchen there is almost everything you need. In the house you have available maps, brochures and other very useful tourist information.
This was our last stop of our interrail journey and the place we had in Rijeka was definetly very comfortable and suitable. We had 5 beds total, so each one had their own bed. They were very comfortable too. The apartment was very big and offered great space for hanging out with each other. There was good internet, a clean bathroom and an overall nice atmosphere. The host greeted us on the day we arrived and gave us our keys. That was very well organized. Overall a place to be recommended in Rijeka.
The apartment was cozy and the host was very welcoming. Excellent communication, great sight from the balcony, large number of ammenities. Pleasant location with plenty of space for parking and well maintained infrastructure around.
Bus stop a hundred meters away, supermarkets not far away, a great place.
The place is furnished like a home and while not super luxurious, does feel like a home, instead of an anonimous hotel/bnb.
The location of the apartment is great; it's just a couple of minutes away from Korzo. There's free parking less than a minute away from the property, and the host was more than warm and welcoming since they allowed us to arrive a bit earlier, which saved us a lot of time. The apartment was very clean and cozy, and it comes with a great view too! I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who's coming to Rijeka.
Location is the most central you can find in Rijeka.
Simple room but with everything you need even Tv. The guy provide me even towel, bathroom is on sharing with other two room, place is very quiet only thing you ll ear are seagulls and pigeons.
It s 1st floor that helps if you have heavy luggage.
One of best deal for Rijeka center. In two minutes you ll be in citylife
A bit away from the city center of Rijeka but really close to the beaches. Also just a few minutes'walk to the nearest bus station and going to the city center or visiting some other neighboring cities (such as Opatija) is also easy. And the beach is literally right in front of the aprtment, just down the slope. The apartment itself is quite spatious and neat.
The hotel is situated near the very center of the town of Rijeka (Fiume). Very important feature of the Hotel "Neboder" is a free-of-charge parking - either in the Hotel's garage or directly in the front of the entrance to the Hotel.
The personnel is very kind. Buffet-type breakfast is very abundant.
Generally, it was a lovely stay.
I work in hotels in Paris, so It was a very good experience for me to stay in Hostel RiweR in Rijeka.
The hostel is very good place to stay for fews days.
He is in the center (near from the city bars restaurant clubs, and near the beach). The staff was great. I will go back again, and I recommend it to everyone to go there...
The apartment was big and beautifully decorated. it is super clean, spotless. Beds are big and comfortable, even the extendable sofa bed is big and comfortable to to slip on. The place is located in the old historic part of Rijeka, only 5 minutes walk to the main street Korzo. Ivica, the Host was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel looks and feels as luxury, but “run out” hotel. As typical International brands (Hilton) design. However it kept very clean and functional, very large rooms, extremely nice staff (especially the duty manager on our check in) and reach breakfast. Great central location. It was a great choice.
Staff helpful and friendly. The views of the Kvarner bay are just astonishing. It's incredible to wake up to that!! A wonderful, wonderful location. Nice room, the wellness area is really great. The place is really well organised, and despite being a chain it's a beautiful building, too. Shall return.
The staff, the lady at the reception (Vladka) is sooo kind and helpful and professional and welcoming and smiling, she explains everything in details and she’s suggesting good restaurants and beaches to go.
Also, the area next to the theater is so nice and the hotel is very nice and clean.
Everything was great..easy check in
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff..clean rooms comfortable beds ...AC in room...minutes to bus station and main street (Korzo)
.this is my 3rd time booking Molo Longo and i will continue booking them every time i come to Rijeka
The apartment was nice and clean, had an absolutely amazing terrace with the see view and a beach in 10 min. It is located between Rijeka and Opatija and takes 20-30 min by bus to get to either, so unless you need to go to the city every day, the location is perfect
Great location near bus and train station. Walking distance to some attractions and plenty of restaurants. Clean and the TV had Netflix and YouTube options. Would stay here again if in Rijeka. Allowed me to checkout an hour late, very appreciated.
