It is a small beach town with nice, tiny beaches. Not much in this town alone but quite some good spots in the island. If you visit here, renting a car from Split would be ideal to go around the island and visit some nice beaches.

Postira is all the beauty of Croatia minus the mass tourism.
Postira is all the beauty of Croatia minus the mass tourism. The people are extremely friendly and it has great beaches and lovely bars. The water on this side of the island is warmer than the opposite site.

Postira is a very quiet village about 15 minutes by Uber from Supetar where the ferries to Split are plentiful. By around 11pm the bars and restaurants close, so its the perfect place for a relaxing stay. The pebble beaches around the riva are very accessible. Two small supermarkets and lots of lovely walks around the village. The sandy Lovrecina beach is around 10 minutes by local taxi (100 kuna each way).

A beautiful small traditional town with a handful of bars and restaurants. Great for boat trips to other towns or places of interest.
10 - 15 mins by car to Supetar (ferry to split), 40 - 50 mins to Bol if you want to visit Zlatini Rat beach.
We walked to Lovrecina Bay which took about an hour and is approximately 4 miles. It’s a lovely walk past a couple of quieter bays although hard work in 32 degree heat! I would recommend one of the smaller quieter bays rather than Lovrecina as the sand wasn’t too nice and was really busy. We stopped for a drink before heading back to the other bay for a much needed dip in the Adriatic!
The newly opened VIEW Hotel somewhat spoils the look and character of Postira in my opinion.

Small town with only few places to eat and go shopping; quiet and slowly.
At least 4 appointed beaches offered space to take water and sub bathing. Konoba Gustirna - fully recommendation for meat, fish and seafood.
Pizzeria Galija - pizzas taste like in Italy.
Easy moving within the town; everything just at your fingertips.
The only negative comes from torist from cruise ships that visit the town regularly. They overcrowd the small beaches and bring much noise on the only promenade.

Postira is a nice, little town where time flows slowly.
Postira is a nice, little town where time flows slowly. Amazingly crystal clear and calm water (especially in the morning) and cloudless sky make it a perfect place for tourists seeking sun bathing and swimmers/triathlonists.
Windy weather in the afternoon makes it a place for wind surfers and kite surfers.
If you want to unwind, charge up your batteries then this is the place for you.
Nice and quiet hotel with only 28 rooms. Buffet breakfast is served 7:30 - 10am and I can’t recall it being overly busy each day we ate. There’s a good selection of cereals, juices, breads etc as well as the usual cheeses and different meats. There’s also a selection of hot items or you can ask for omelettes and gluten free bread if you’re coeliac like my wife!.
The location was fantastic, right on the waterfront. Possibly one of the best balcony views I can remember. :-)
The location was perfect! Just in front of the beach. Postira is a very nice cute village where there are some restaurants nearby.
The hotel was nice, it had a pool and a good breakfast. There were two big free parking lots just around the corner.
The sea view was amazing! I think is a perfect location to stay in Brač. Is not so overwhelmed with people during the high season of August.
I would love to go back and stay here again!
Splendid double aspect room with a wraparound balcony overlooking the pool and the picturesque harbour - providing lots of entertainment as you "watch the world" go by. {Shame about the monstrosity of the new mega hotel next door but that is another story.} Very friendly & helpful staff - arranging taxis from Supetar, to Split airport, massages etc. Breakfast was a buffet with hot dishes regularly topped up.
I stayed in July, peak season, and booked a bit late so they only had a suite left. It was amazing - view of the sea, big beautiful room, and the most inviting bathtub every :-) It is the very best place to stay in Postira - wonderful to sit in front and watch the sea and people walk by. I also LOVE this town.
The free breakfast included very nice fruit and Croatian ham
The apartment was very spacious and clean. The beds were super comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. The pool and area are very nice with e beautiful sea view. The beach is only a quick 2 minute walk down the hill. Also the town is a 10 minute walk with lovely restaurants and bars. The owners are super nice and very helpful. It was a perfect stay at Postira.
The apartment is very well equipped even for a longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. It is located in the centre of little city Postira only few steps to the beach on one side and few steps to the main "square" to another, where you can find everything needed for staying in Postira (store, market, restaurants, pharmacy...).
Everything was PERFECT !!! The Hosts are wonderful people, so kind and helpful. Mrs. Jelka greeted us with homemade cakes and cold, delicious lemonade. Apartament has great view and is situated next to the beautiful beach. Short walk (about 5 minutes) and you are in the center of Postira. We recommend stay in this apartment !!!
We stayed at apartments Postira brač for 2 days. And what a pleasant stay Ivana and branko are the best hosts you could ask for very toughtfull and helpful. Can only recomend 🙂 the appartement is very nice with a very nice terrace with a beautifull view good bed and bathroom. And very close to the beach
We had great time on family vacation with small kid.
Nice beach is really close, bed is comfy and terrace was amazing.
There is outdoor electric grill on terrace, so we dined with this great view.
We also chilled on it in the evening with some good wines from Brač and sounds of nature.
The host is very friendly and helpful. The house is very clean and big. Very good location, big and beautiful terrace. House is beautiful and has everything I needed. Good price for good house. Postira is nice place to enjoy holidays and has good bus connection.
While the hotel was large, still, it was divided in such a way that it was easy to get where I wanted to go. I went to the restaurant and to the beach. It is a lovely hotel. The food is very good and I think it is a good value. Thank you.
There are many things that we loved about this place: Perfect location close to the beach and close to Postira center. Wonderful view from the spacious terrace. Fully equiped kitchen, and we were very well taken care of by the kind hosts.
Moder and clean hotel and up to date rooms. Unlimited beach towel exchange throughout the day. Right next to a nice dock where you can jump right into the clear sea. Nice sufficient gym with a power rack etc.
The view from all areas of the hotel and the balconies in the room are great. Most of the staff was nice and tried hard but they just don’t have the experience needed to deliver a 4-star stay.
Great location , very spacious, comfy beds , well equipped kitchen, 2 toilets .
We loved Postira , nice and quiet with enough restaurants and bars . The Inkognito for cocktails .
Hidden in nature yet close to Postira, the property offers a somewhat Robinson experience for those into it. Exceptional in every way. The hosts were caring and helpful.
