We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Giardino! It is clear that Nick, Helena and the whole team think a lot about creating a comfortable, warm environment! We were greeted with homemade lemonade, which was a sweet touch. We even received a complimentary upgrade because we were on our honeymoon - this was such a thoughtful gesture, and we couldn’t have enjoyed the view from our window more! The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable - and we loved the communal spaces too. Lots of comfy outdoor furniture to sit in with a book, etc.
Breakfast was delicious too, with cereal, yogurt, fruits, homemade cakes… and then made-to-order eggs, veggies, etc too!
It really felt like a treat to stay at Villa Giardino!

Breakfast was great, especially eating on the terrace facing the sea. And our second floor balcony faced the sea as well, lovely to enjoy the view!

We loved the location of this apartment- close enough to town to walk, but far enough away to avoid any noise nights or god forbid, Yacht Week. Just up the hill from two beaches! Very nice the owners left beach things like sunshade, pads, beachshoes, and floats to use. The balcony is very nice, and its a quiet neighborhood. The couch was great and all the basics in the kitchen. They left soap for one laundry load, which was considerate.

Bol is a lovely little town, with a beautiful harbour and several excellent beaches. We were there in September so it wasn’t too busy anywhere. The better restaurants are to be found away from the main harbour area, and we had some very enjoyable meals. There are plenty of boat tours, but if you want to see the rest of the island you need to hire a car. There are many secluded coves around the island.

We visited Bol during the summer as part of a longer trip to Croatia, we enjoyed it so much we decided to come vack for an extended weekend. We were a little worried that we had hyped it up in our memory but we needn't have .. it was exactly as we remembered! The vibe, the people, the location .. all perfect .. we'll be back ... AGAIN!

The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts.
The island of Brac is a matter of our hearts. We love its smell (the smell of the sea and the pine trees), its sounds (the singing of the cicadas and the music of the sea), the warm-hearted people who are always willing to help. We arrived by car from Split by ferry to Supetar and from there across the island to Bol, where we stayed in the town centre (we have stayed 4 times now at SD House Rooms, we go every year in July and August). From there we rode our bikes to Golden Horn beach every day. It's a gorgeous beach with clear beautiful sea which is different every day. The beach is kept clean every day, there are snack stands and bars with a great menu, good ice cream and good coffee, at affordable prices. By the beach there is a grove of tall pine trees (pines), which gives the possibility of shade and a pleasant cooling down. People bring hammocks to rest in. Nearby there is a bicycle rental, scooters. The harbour in Bol is charming and the promenade to Golden Horn beach is beautiful.

Bol is a really nice city, I only reserved here for the Zatni Rat beach and I was surprised by how beautifull the city was. The food was great, Bol beeing among the few places where food was always verry good. The Zatni Rat beach was really nice as well, although it's not a sandy beach as it is marketed, the view from here was really nice!
I think that the only downside was that it seemed to be verry expensive for what it was, would definetelly reccommed the experience to everyone, but I don't think I will ever come back since there are better options at cheaper prices out there (Mallorca beeing one of them).

Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar.
Very quiet place and less tourists than Hvar. As many places too many people in the popular beaches but it is possible to find less crowded beaches in walking distance.
I did not like cash only spread at all places.

Beautiful Island.
Beautiful Island.
Despite travelling in early July, we didn't feel like it was overrun with tourists. There were day trippers from other islands/mainland but it didn't feel crowded.
We arrived by bus/ferry and hired a car on one day to see more of the island - Boomer Rental were great! You have to call them as they have no office but very friendly and dropped car at hotel. No hidden costs! (unlike RentalBrac)
We found a lovely little beach used by the locals. Great for kids.
Lovely little restaurants in the area.
We vary the places we stay - from budget to better. Better often means being able to wash clothes halfway through a trip! House Racic would be hard to beat for location (about as near the ferry as you can be), excellent facilities, kitchen equipment like a proper home - knives, kettle, coffee machine - all perfect, lovely balcony, good a/c - just excellent. Jasmina is charming - speaks a little English, better German - both way better than our non-existent Croatian!
Phenomenal location - twenty metres to one of the
best beaches in Croatia. Exceptional staff, met our every
need - provided additional bed for our last-minute guest,
allowed late check-out, sent the item we left behind in our room via ferry to our new destination. Absolute brilliance, 5+ stars to this hotel and their staff and customer service beyond our expectations.
The hotel is one of the best I've stayed in with very friendly staff. The hotel is very beautiful and is made of white Brac stone and is located in a fantastic location on the setalist, 500 meters from the most beautiful beach in Croatia. As for the food, I advise everyone to take at least half board because the food is extremely varied and delicious.
Rating 10/10….
Lovely relaxing last few days at the end of our tour of Croatia.
They collected us and dropped us off from the ferry.
Breakfast was lovely. Everything we needed.
They had lovely touches like if they saw us chilling round the hotel, offers of coffee or wine. They were the most lovely of host.
Ben is an amazing host; he made our entire trip to Croatia great, and we were so grateful for his communication and help showing us around.
The property was gorgeous, well-appointed and beautifully situated. We wish we had stayed with Ben at Belado our entire time in Croatia.
