Very close distance to the beaches and to Opatia , Rijeka, Pula, local LIDL supermarket, Plodine supermarket also too close , bakeries which provides fresh burek,fresh pizzas, fresh bread and freshly made cakes especially Trileçe, restaurants and coffee bars, lovely food. The beautiful nature and the lovely plants around especially oleanders 😃 also very clean streets !

Matulji is a cute place next to Opatija. Riviera is beautiful and you can walk from Matulji to Opatija and further via wonderful walking trail by the sea. It has nice coffe bars and restaurants next to the sea. It’s peaceful and dreamy place.

It is one of the best apartments we have visited in terms of having all kitchen and other equipment and gadgets, conformity, and cleanness. It has a very nice private garden where you can dine. It is practically surrounded by forests as the location is quite high above Rijeka in the Matulji settlement. So the location is quiet and natural but because of that access is steep. Marine, the host is super careful and very nice. We were surprised with a glass of cold sparkling wine for welcome. I recommend warmly the apartment.

Crni Macak is a spacious and very comfortable apartment decorated in a modern and tasteful way. The level of equipment and comfort is such that you could live there permanently. There is also a large garden with comfortable seating. From Matulji it is 5 minutes by car to the sea and there are many stores and pubs in the village and they are cheaper than in Opatija. Janja is a very good host who is helpful when needed, but at the same time unobtrusive and discreet. There are nice gifts waiting for the guests.

What I can say is that this hotel is one of the cleanest and most modern places I have ever traveled to. The cleanliness, the room furnishings with the most expensive and quality products. The staff very very friendly, a 10 plus. We happened to stay on our birthday (mine and my husband's) and the host made us some great surprises. I highly recommend it. Another advantage is that the hotel has a garage. Go because it's worth it.

The apartment is very nice and clean and the hosts are very kind and helpful. They provided us with baby bed eventhought it was written that it was not available. They even offered us cold drinks and gave children gifts when leaving. The location is great for children- near the forest so it is cool after the day on the beach. Opatija and also nice beaches are quite near. Thank you for everything! We had great time!

Very nice and cosy apartment, absolutely clean, new and fully equiped. Very hospitable and nice hosts, I would like to thank them that way again for everything! The location is very calm and evenings on the terrace were perfect. 10 minutes by car to nice beach in Icici or Opatija, grocery 5 minutes by walk. We had everything what we needed. I can absolutely recommend!

Apartman was easy to find and there was plenty of parking which was concern for me during my stay in Opatija. Once I was in apartment the place was clean and very comfortable. It was immaculate. Manager of the property was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back with family and stay here again.

Nice garden flat with access to huge swimming pool. Perfect base to explore the Opatija Riviera. Very friendly host who provided information about what to see and do in the area. He also brought us some snacks and soup. Our dog was welcome too.

Location was key. Plus was AC and pool. Friendly family atmosphere with super Croatia hospitality from the staff. Grateful for finding this treasure spot in Matulji. Train tracks were also item of interest.
