Great location in town, staff was very nice and helpful, especially after my friend tripped and broke his foot while sight seeing. They help navigate us to doctors and medical supply companies. And thankfully, a very accessible building with elevators.

Absolute luxury! Our room was immaculate and elegant, with a stunning view. The staff are like none other! Everyone we came in contact with was engaging, friendly and helpful. A huge shoutout to Antonio in the restaurant. We ate dinner there several times and everything was spectacular. Antonio knows his wine, food and craft cocktails and his recommendations are solid! Breakfast is a feast and also excellent.
The salt water pool is heated and because this is a small hotel, it was not crowded.
The gym is airy, clean and well-equipped. The spa is lovely and access to steam and sauna rooms are complimentary. I had a massage from Cornejla and that too was top-notch. I would highly recommend her.
The hotel is located on a little paved community path which makes it easy to walk to other restaurants; and if nothing else, stroll past beautiful old villas and take in the stunning views.
We would definitely LOVE to stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful time Ikador!

Opatija is a lively and popular tourist destination which offers sandy beaches and some of the most stunning coastal views in Croatia, evident while strolling along its lovely seaside promenade Lungomare.
The town’s streets and pristine coastline are lined with bright and colourful pastel-coloured buildings, restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels.
If your plan is to go sightseeing, be sure to visit Opatija’s famous picture-postcard statue the Maiden with the Seagull, situated beside Juraj Šporer Art Pavilion. Other must-see sights are the Old City and the 14th-century Abbey of Saint James.
Neighbouring Opatija is Rijeka, Croatia’s historic and principal seaport town and a popular spot for a day trip. Rijeka’s most famous landmarks are the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral and the 13th-century Trsat Castle, which offers magnificent city and coastal views.

Underwhelmed. When you look up Opatija you always see pictures of beautiful flowers, especially those in front of the Villa Angiolina. One of the reasons we stayed in Opatija was my wife loves flowers and especially flower gardens. The reality is vastly different from the pictures. We were there in early May 2024 and the weather was cool, but flowers tend to love cool weather. The condition of that postcard style trademark of Opatija was terrible. It is a pleasant town with a nice promenade, but when we were there most restaurants were closed and everything seemed unkempt. Half deserted and still no parking. Possibly they wait for the summer months to tend to things when the town is overrun with tourists and there is really really no place to park.

This place is so nice and beautiful.
This place is so nice and beautiful. And Lungomare walk is something incredible! I wish we had more time to explore the city or simply get lost there. Then visit the museums and admire historical villas, check out nice shops with souvenirs, spent more time just sitting and observing the sea in one of the cozy cafes at the seaside.

It’s a beautiful city with lots of Austrian style influenced buildings. I would not recommend it during the summer because for swimming in the sea it is not the best place to go to, as there are not really nice beaches. But for off season it is very nice.

Tourist Hotspot so most cafés/restaurants/bars are overpriced, often ridiculously so for the level of service. Also too crowded, even in off season. One exception: Pizzeria Roko, go eat there!

Well Opatia is an old tourist town.
Well Opatia is an old tourist town. It does show its age and set of problems like all tourist towns. But still retains its charm and different eras that build it.
A wonderful place to walk enjoy coffee on some terrace or a perfect sea food meal.
A smart home base point for wider exploration of Kvarner region, its hills and mountains as its islands.
Excellent location, easily accessible. Parking outside the street is simple, but you can park inside if you wish. The sea, the promenade and Opatija centre are all in walking distance. The apartment is practical with a nicely equipped kitchen and cosy living room/bedroom. The terrace of our room was mesmerizing. The garden is lush, must be a real cool place on summer (we came to catch a bit of Opatija Advent). The hospitality and atmosphere are outstanding, we truly felt welcome and like at home here. Thanks!
Opatija is an incredibly lovey and beautify town and hotel Milenij is definitely a diamond in the crown :) We loved the magnificent sea view from the room on the top floor, beautiful park next to the property, sparkling clean and convenient facilities with saunas, indoor pool and hot jacuzzi. The warm and friendly attitude of the hotel staff and willingness to help made our stay absolutely amazing - thank you to Tomislav and Lucia, Svetlana, Diana, Alen and a huge warm thankyou to Maria !
This hotel is so comfortable, and welcoming, clean and well appointed. The rooms are so spacious, including the gorgeous balcony that gives you the most gorgeous view. The beds are so cozy, the rooms are soundproof and the staff is lovely. Food is great - something for everyone. I felt like I was on a cruise ship. It’s the best place to come back to after a day of exploring. On-site parking is easy, and the hotel is easy to find. The pool is great. It’s all just very smart.
Nice apartment with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed sitting out on the covered terrace throughout the day...for morning coffee and evening meals. We were unable to use the pool or hot tub during our October visit, but we enjoyed using the lounge chairs on the lower decks for some afternoon sun. The host family is incredibly nice and welcoming. We are very happy we chose this apartment for our week in this beautiful part of Croatia.
Exceptional as always. A gem of the local coast. Friendly and helpful staff, beatiful view from the room, lovely breakfast and a tasty but not uptight fine dining restaurant, offering lovely cocktails and a wide selection of local wines and delicacies. The hotel is constantly developing new infrastructure for guests and has been taking care to maintain the facilities in good condition.
Amazing fishing village 25min walk from Opatija. It is a little wonderland. The apartment is nice, cosy, friendly small, well equiped, ideal for a week or a long weekend stay. The host Jasna is very kind and helpful. The parking is not so easy but not complicated, basicly you won't need your car. If you will arrive there you want to stay at the sea and forgot to sit in the car... :)
Host Vanja - amazing person who loves history. Contact was great before arrival and he even kept for us free parking space next to the apartment (thank you for that!). Location is perfect and very central - in the apartment you have everything what you need! (we just stayed one night). Opatija lovely place, with long promenade, amazing restaurants - worth to visit again for sure!
Absolutely cozy apartment, nicely renovated in vintage style. Our host Mladen was very friendly and offered us parking opportunity, which is an absolute jackpot in Opatija. The seaside is just a couple of stairs and steps distance from the door. We were only there for a winter weekend, but would be also ideal for a summer vacation for 2.
Location. Only .. Bait and switch photos on line show Grand Hotel Adriatic when you arrive you are out in a defuncked convention center attached . Tiny filthy decrepit rooms .. Mold on carpet drywall falling off .. Pool is across the road and full of seagull poop. No restaurants only a buffet ..
The Villa is in one of the best locations of Opatija, directly opposite the Park centar and next to the Bristol Hotel. The room was new, comfortable and very clean. We had a very nice welcome from the host and uncomplicated parking around the corner.
Great staff, great location, lovely seaview, optional meals were good value. Our very lovely stay in Opatija turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay in Croatia. A very beautiful city! Thank You
Excellent location and excellent place to stay. Great food, private beach, and excellent staff service with a special mention of the reception guy that did our booking. We will be back & so will our friends.
