Well located in the center of Rovinj, The Melegran provides air-conditioned rooms, a bar, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers a concierge service and luggage storage space. The rooms are lovely, clean and the location is great plus the breakfast was lovely to start the day with. I’d also like to thank the amiable staff at The Melegran. They were friendly and accomodating from the very first message on this platform to the very last “bye” after giving us a lift to our car. The start of the year 2022 in Rovinj was quite eventful with a fire on a nearby building’s roof. The Melegran staff reacted well and promptly informed us of the situation. As a measure of our safety, they relocated us to a new studio apartment (also nice and lovely). Happy new year to everyone at The Melegran and we hope to visit you again soon!

Rovinj was beautiful. The architecture is stunning in the old town. There are plenty of places for a drink and food. There are also plenty of small supermarkets if you are self catering. The walk to the beach areas can be long and hot but lots of people hired electric scooters or bikes. The walk was fine if completed earlier or later in the day. The sea is a wonderful temperature and crystal clear. The cobbled streets are gorgeous but very sloppy so take suitable footwear. When exploring the town there are quite a few hills so not great if you have to use a wheel chair or a pushchair. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, our favourite meal was at a restaurant called Booksteria. There were also a few really good take away places that were not fast food places. Lots of places to stop for cocktails and take in the sea views. I would definitely recommend a sunset boat trip. The bus station is also very central so you can get around to other places easily.
Pleasantly surprised by this picturesque town. Charming cobbled streets wind their way up through the old town with lots of interesting bars, restaurants and small, independent shops. Heaving with tourists - especially in the summer evenings - but a short walk brings you to relatively quiet beaches with crystal clear, warm waters. Numerous boat excursions to and around nearby islands, including evening cruises which pretty-much guarantee dolphin spotting! If you're not afraid of heights climb the old clock tower at the top of the town. The rickety old staircase increases the fun - but may prove a little scary for some! Worth it for the great views from the top though.
Rovigno is and always a magical place. You can pass hours just wandering the streets of the old town. I never get bored after 20 years of visiting . The only downside now is that it's becoming too expensive. Prices have gone up a lot,it's cheaper to stay in Italy now.
It is a beautiful city, access to the sea is not easy everywhere and children, elderly people or people in wheelchairs may find it difficult to move about or to use the beach. Some beaches are on the cliff others are more accessible. If you have specific needs you want to make sure you stay in a location that gives you access to the right facilities. I traveled with my elderly mom and the monte beach was not an option for her. Lone beach is accessible, has shade and rentable recliner at a reasonable price, but we had to walk 20 minutes to get there. Food was excellent in most places. Rovigno’s streets are made of very ancient stones which mskes them slippery and uneven. Part of the city is on a hill, so there are a few slippery slopes. It is beautiful to visit but choose well your shoes, and if you travel with little children consider how you want to go around. I loved to get there with the ferry from Trieste.
Gorgeous city with beautiful architecture and wonderful people. Also, great for people who has dogs cause of lots of greens and great restaurants. Would highly recommend Rovinj to everyone!😍😍😍 You definitely won't be bored there!😎
This town and the Istrian region was for us a surprising treasure. We felt cloaked in calm, simple joys with gorgeous waters, mountains and valleys. Authentic folk music was presented in nearby venues every night. People were friendly and genuinely happy.

Our stay at Casa Banko was absolutely amazing. We traveled a lot throughout the years, but never had we met such outstanding hosts, beautiful and clean accommodation, and had great time on our vacation. Jadranka and all other members of her family, spoiled us, and made us feel like we are in 5 star hotel. Everything is extremely clean, hosts are very responsive to any requests you might have, location is excellent. I highly recommend Casa Banko to any traveler, book without a doubt- you would have the most wonderful time ever!!!
Rovinj
Location is really great, our house was located inside the forest, far away from crouds. Aquapark and the beach are located just next to each others. The water in both is super clean and not cold. Kids really enjoyed spending time there. There is one restaurant in the hotel area and small caffeteria. Both are nice and serve good food and coffee. But on top of this, there is plenty of family restaurants in the walking distance from the hotel. Old town of Rovinj is located just 10 mins drive from the hotel.
The best hotel in Croatia. Very nice staff who help with everything you want. Wonderful roof top infinity pool and indoor pool which goes to outdoor pool. Enough pool beds for everybody. Very nice food at the pool, hamburger was so delicious. Breakfast was amazing at the wonderful terrace. From everywhere is amazing view at old town Rovinj. During sunset its like a fairytale ;)
We love hotel Eden. We got there by browsing booking.com for the first time and didn't want to change it from there on. This is by far the best location on Adriatic sea, as far as I'm concerned. Note: I'm going there for the nature, beautiful scents, clean water and beautiful small beaches. This place is a park and should always stay the same.

The room was small but quaint and clean. Our host Alex was exceptionally friendly and helpful! We loved old town Rovinj. We were there in off season , but overall was much quieter and less commercialized than some of the other Croatia cities we visited.
We liked the most that the hotel is dog friendly, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Location is also amazing. Only 10 minute bike ride from old town of Rovinj and just few steps away from the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
