the hotel is very nicely positioned and has comfortable rooms that are above average, what is very bad is that the level of privacy is at a very low level for such a hotel.

One of the best mattresses I have slept on lately. Also, it's in a great neighborhood—possibly the best we visited in Zagreb. The city center is about 10-15 minutes away by Uber, but very easily reachable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Zagreb and choose not to stay in the city center.

Initially finding our way to the Dolac market (it was towards the end of the day so fruit and vegetables were cheaper) was via a bus and then a tram (best to travel with local currency in coins as public transport is very cheap), however as we explored the public transport network via the tram route it was a faster way to travel into and out of the city from where we stayed at m-blok. Catching a bus and tram back to the city to hire a car was seamless on our last day. Getting to and from places is very easy once you know where you're going so a car is unnecessary in Zagreb. You can buy bus/tram tickets at Tsik kiosks located close to public transport or on the bus/tram. Note that most coffee cafe's only sell coffee and not food. We enjoyed food from Pekara Dubravica 'home of the finest snacks'. They have a great chicken salad, three different types of burek and more. We ate at II Secondo (reasonable price and big serves), Burger Bar and Burger and Beer Bar Mrav (cheaper eats and big serves).

If you wanna be welcome ,don't come.
If you wanna be welcome ,don't come. I am saying this as a homegrown Zagrebian. I always feel unwelcomed, and I was born here :)
If you're passing through, by all means.
Foreigners generally like Zagreb, but if you're up for a good time, fun, music, company, just don't come. It's not worth the trip and it's not worth your money. Remember this capital is not treating it's own people well.
Go somewhere where the citizens are respected and foreigners are warmly welcome. Y'all have great stayings and safe journeys!

Zagreb is a great city ,transport very good easy to use and every kiosk sells trams tickets 56cents for 30 mins accross town and can be bought in various mins including a day ticket to travel from early morning to till night . there is a city bus that takes you to the airport for 1.12 euros you get a tram walk a few mins and pick up a bus so can be done cheaply, there is an 8 euro bus journey to/from the bus station and then a tram from there to centar and you know you have arrived as its like a big square with shops and resturants around it and on the right a of square the tourist office. A lot of the Churchs/Cathederal and palaces were not open to the public since the earthquake in 2020 still under repair as are a lot of buildings with minor damages. Lots of resturants to eat every where reasonably priced, the best shopping was in the area around the main train station there is an underground shopping mall and lots to choose from down there. .

The city is an easy city to travel around especially if you are central. Transport is good. The down side is the airport bagage claim, the airport lack of announcements for delayed flights and the fact that places of interest are closed on Easter and Easter Monday.

We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful.
We only stayed in the old city and it was beautiful. So many green spaces, parks ,statues, sculptures and gorgeous architecture. Lots to see for free. It’s an easily walkable area but the transit is amazing and so affordable! There are so many museums to choose from. I really enjoyed the Museum of Broken Relationships, it was funny and sad and made me cry a few times, but was really unique. We also enjoyed being in the Stone Tower when the canon was fired. The gunner? or artillery man was a real treat . We were amazed by the Mirogoj cemetery and the Botanical gardens were lovely. Our favourite meal was at Stari Fijaker 900. Great food, service and historical ambiance.
The hotel was really easy to get to from the airport and we received a warm welcome. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable. We really enjoyed using the pool and spa facilities and staff there were really attentive. We ate dinner at the hotel on our second evening and it was a good set of menus choices with good ambience. Breakfast was excellent and gluten free accommodated very well. This was a great place for us to start our vacation in Croatia and we highly recommend.
Our stay at this hotel was exceptional! The breakfast spread was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Its proximity to the city center and the advent was incredibly convenient. The secured parking added a sense of safety. The hotel staff, especially the reception team, were remarkably helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The rooms were excellent, exuding a charming vintage style that added a unique touch to the experience. Overall, a wonderful stay with top-notch service and great amenities.
We arrived in hotel only for one day, but we saw very beautiful comfortable hotel with nice clean swimming pool and beautiful view of the mountains. When we arrived in Croatia was very hot, but i hotel was comfortable temperature, what was very important for us.
Beautiful place if you would like to escape heat or if you need to stop somewhere when you traveling in Croatia. Also hotel and swimming pool is very quiet and comfortable for families with children.
The whole hotel has a modern design and is well thought through but not boring at all.
Rooms are great, the bathtub in the spacebath room is worth the upgrade and is big enough. Breakfast delicious with fresh pressed juice and various selections for all needs. Pillows are comfy and the shower amenities smell nice. Everything is sparkling clean. No noise from outside. Rooftop has an open pool area with a bar.
The stay at Hotel Internacional was very pleasant. The rooms are extremely clean, the furniture is new, the staff is friendly and smiling. The selection of food for breakfast is excellent. I especially liked the fact that we were greeted in the room with cookies, coffee, tea and water. The distance from the city center is a 20-minute walk.
I recommend this hotel.
Overall, the experience was good. The staff was pleasant, the hotel is very clean and well organised & furnished. The room was warm, close to the lobby, very clean, the bathroom was satisfactory, the service was responsive and at our disposal constantly. The location of the hotel was also very good - close to the bus stop and like 25min away from the city centre.
Everything! Very kind staff, very nice room... the tram stops in front of the hotel... hotel has an excellent transfer lounge for the guests to use after checking out...one of the rare hotels near the Zagreb city center that practically has its own (shared with the mall) garage with the elevator leading directly to the rooms...
The apartment is located in city center and within walking distance to everything I needed to visit. I love the small kitchen and working desk, it makes the space much more usable compared to a hotel room. Everything was clean. The owner responded immediately to a phone call when I had a question.
Staff very friendly. The front desk gave us great recommendations where to eat. Hotel close to city center (upper and lower town), but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was good and one of the workers offered to make us a delicious omelet.
This hotel is the best experience we had in Zagreb, this was our third stay and not the last. Free parking, amazing rooms and most of all the best staff. 24 hours front desk, great breakfast and overall comfort that you can only get in a much more expensive hotels. We love it !
Lovely boutique hotel located in the city center within easy walking distance of major sights. Rooms nicely appointed and quiet. Rooms either look toward the street to to alley so inquire about room location before booking. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend.
We had a great time at Park 45! Great location; the staff at the Hotel was extremely friendly, day and night; the room very spacious, quiet, and clean; and a delicious breakfast to top it off. Would definitely stay here again, if we come back to Zagreb one day.
Very modern boutique hotel super clean and close to main bus station. Excellent breakfast. (Note: We stayed at Sofitel Athens airport after this and paid double the price and it wasn't as good as Hotel 9.) Antonia on reception was excellent and helped us a lot.
This hotel is located in a quiet residential area, an easy tram ride away to the city centre. The housekeeping team here were top class as were the guys on reception. I had a very comfortable though small single room. Great value stay for a solo traveller.
Very very spacious room with a BIG (shared) balcony in a brand new hotel. Comfortable bathroom and enough power plugs to recharge all your things at once. :) Tram stop in front of the hotel is very convenient to reach the city center.
This hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it a good stop off point after a late flight before an onwards journey. Overall it felt safe and the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
The staff were just wonderful really made my stay. incredible big breakfast, really comfortable room and great location. make sure you get the hotel to arrange your transfer from Airport much cheaper
Exceptional little hotel, helpful staff, bountiful breakfast, super clean and comfortable room. The best value stay I have experienced in Europe. Wish I could have stayed for more than a night.
Good hotel, nice and clean. Spacious triple rooms, so the kid can stay in a separate room. Nice breakfast. Hotel is really 10 minutes from city center.
