Nice location in the forest of Verudela peninsula. Hotel offers a good value for money in my opinion. There is plenty of choice for breakfasts and there was a lot of space in the parking lot (although we were there off season).
Located 656 feet from a beautiful pebbly beach, Hotel Brioni also features an indoor and outdoor pool and an a-la-carte restaurant.

Amazing infrastructure (outdoor infinity pool, indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room, etc), beautiful decoration, very comfortable rooms, high-end toiletries (acqua di parma), stunning sea views with sun setting in the sea, delicious breakfast and dinner buffet (we choose half board rate) with very fresh and exquisite ingredientes, wide variety of food selection.
Staff was really welcoming, caring and friendly (except in the front desk which was below the hotel service level but still ok). Special highlight to three amazing employees (Daniel and Dian from the restaurant) and Enisa (cleaning lady), who made us feel like home with excelling service and friendliness, they will do anything within their reach to make you feel welcome. For us this is a more important quality than the amazing hotel infrastructure, we can tell the hotel takes good care of their staff!

The staff was so nice and friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was large and beautiful and we had an end room facing the forest. The large windows were able to be opened fully which made us feel somewhere other than in the city. The restaurant was great and the breakfast had everything you could want and more. The location is great to go to a couple of beaches and the hotel supplied beach towels. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pula.

The property manager, Milos, was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL!!! He was kind, and helpful, and alleviated our anxiety after we accidentally locked our keys into our rental car. He took care of everything and resolved the issue expeditiously.

Pula has been drawing visitors to its sunny shores since Roman times. Many an empire fought over its strategic Istrian Peninsula location, but thankfully they left its monuments largely intact. None is more impressive than huge Pula Arena, a Roman amphitheatre just back from the port.
The Temple of Rome and Augustus is a wall from another temple has been incorporated into the 10th-century Communal Palace on the cobbled square which occupies the site of the former Roman forum. The Arch of Sergii was a triumphal memorial and the Twin Gates and nearby Gate of Hercules provided access through the Roman walls.
Today’s walls are medieval and skirt a hill topped with a Venetian castle housing the Istrian History Museum. Halfway up are the Roman theatre remains, accessible via Pula Archaeological Museum.
The 6th-century Basilica of St Mary Formosa has mosaics similar to those in Ravenna across the Adriatic and Pula Cathedral was originally from the same century, but got rebuilt over 800 years later.
For many though, Pula’s wonderful beaches and turquoise seas are the biggest attractions. Its undulating coastline is peppered with luxury hotels, resorts and cheap apartments on Booking.com, all easily accessible from Pula Airport. Some look towards the Brijuni National Park islands whose waters offer some great diving spots.

Beautiful little town, we went to Croatia for 3 nights and on the 3rd day we decided to visit nearby town Rovinj as we had seen everything in Pula over 2 days.
It's ideal for long weekend, but there are other attractions if you wanted to stay for longer like boats, tours and kayaking.
Local restaurants are great, supermarkets are closed on a Sunday so need to plan shoppimh ahead.

Pula is a city which you can see in a matter of 1 or 2 days. Everything is located pretty close to the city centre, and if you want to get off the track and explore some nature, buses can easily take you outiside the town. The amphitheatre was absolutely worth visiting and wandering around the old town was a very charming and cheerful experience.

The city of Pula is a city of a colorful mix of cultures and languages. Here the Mediterranean and Central Europe, the ancient and the modern are intertwined. This wonderful city can offer not only culture, but also amazing restaurants offering traditional Croatian dishes, together with pizza, pasta and last but not least, seafood specialties. For connoisseurs of sweet things, you can find amazing ice cream/gelato/ at every corner. In Pula you can also enjoy romantic experiences, there are many boats offering evening cruises on the sea in search of dolphins at sunset.

Seemed like a great town, the Gelato shop on the main drag was awesome and the 2 brothers that ran the place were real characters. The coliseum there was very accessible to check out from the outside.
The abandoned buildings on the peninsula were cool and spooky.
The only drawback was the place I stayed.

Pula is such a cute little town, it has beautiful pedestrian zone center you can explore, very charming, people very friendly, and nature close to Pula is breathtaking.
We visited Pula during autumn and it was beautiful, there wasn't summer crowds, restaurants, bars all working. Nature in near Cape Kamenjak just insane beautiful.
Asian restaurant Noy and ice cream in Aroma I definitely recommend.
Wonderful location in old town Pula. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Hostess, Violeta, went out of her way to assist us with parking. The google map link is good, however, there is one crucial turn where road divides and goes uphill that is easy to miss. Violeta was so helpful that when we called she came to us, jumped in the car and directed us to parking. We then got a bonus tour on the walk to the hotel! Short walk to Riva and Arena with endless cafes. Nice breakfast provided at restaurant across the street.
We stayed in Pula City center accommodations hotel for 2 nights in October. The hotel is only 5-7 min walking distance from the city center. A carted parking lot was a safe and convenient. The room was big and on the 3d floor with a balcony and had extra coach, refrigerator. Very big, clean bathroom. Breakfast was served in the lobby and had variety of food. Complimentary tea and coffee were served all day. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has all you need and an excellent location.
We had an awesome stay! It's been labelled as two starts hotel, but it's such a beautiful historical building that it definitely deserves more. Staff was great, we even extended our stay and they were super flexible about it. I'm a local from Croatia - so not really a tourist, and I appreciate this type of accommodation much more than plastic, soulless, newly build hotels! With a bit of refurbishing, Hotel Veli Joze could be the most desirable authentic location!
We have been visiting Croatia for 8 years every year.
Different places every year, first time in Istria but it has exceeded our expectations.
Nice little beach just outside the apartment with a bar. No need to go elsewhere. Our children 5 and 9 loved it. One store just beside, 6 min with car to Lidl.
The apartment was clean and everything were just fine. The host is very hospitable with limited english but it was not a problem at all.
We will visit again.
We were welcomed by the owner who lives at the back. Very nice owners who will do their best to make your stay a great experiance in their apartment and croatia. He even organised Dutch TV chanels. The appartment has all you need including a garden and bbq. Private parking and a short walk to a lovely beach and yacht harbour. Many restaurants and minimarket close by. What else do you need.
The host is very nice. She let me check in even I arrived earlier than 1500.
The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen has all i need if i have to cook.
Bathroom has stable hot water and no smell.
The whole room is just clean and nice.
This is definitely one of the best casa that I live in Croatia.
The walking distance to the attractions is around 5 mins.
Located next to the arena so you can visit the arena almost 24/7😊 Only a few minutes walk from bus station and city center.
Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a swimming pool so you can feel like staying in a 5 star hotel☺️
One of my favorite places at Croatia for the best value-price.
Amazing price, clean, comfortable, excellent internet. Fully stocked kitchen. Location is good (I walked from the Pula bus station and walked to the beaches. A little far but reasonable.) Lots of shops close by.
The water heater broke during my stay but was promptly fixed that evening!
Excellent hotel at the beach front with variety of beaches around to explore - a great choice for those who come to Croatia for the sea. Breakfast is fabulous which makes it difficult not to overeat :) Comms with hotel before arrival was smooth and timely
Very nice apartment in the old town of Pula, looking straight on a picturesque church courtyard.
There's even a restaurant with great food downstairs for when you're tired of exploring.
The owner, Leo, was very friendly and accommodating.
The apartment was very clean and big in size. The apartment has all the necessary equipment like dish soap, shower soaps, hair dryer, etc.
Hotel staff that greeted us at the reception and, in general, are very polite and accommodating.
Natasa, the host is super friendly and willing, the apartment is super equipped. I could not have imagined a better holiday in Croatia, eventhough it was not the first time in the country.
I would recommend the apartment to everyone!
Very good location in an area with free parking, but close to the historical centre pf Pula. The host was extremely helpful and the appartment was one of the most confortable that I have ever booked in Croatia.
Crazy matches the hostel, the host arranged to us a little lovely room for us while there is no affordable room in Pula. The host is the kindest funniest we've encountered in our Croatian journey so far.
The location could not have been better, it’s right on the Main Street yet quiet and a little off. The host was gracious and generous and the apartment really clean. Best place we’ve stayed in croatia!
Dear Matija, thank you for hosting us during this very relaxing stay in Pula. We don't go to Croatia every year, but if we wanna go to Pula again, I know, where I want to book an accomodation!
Breakfast was very basic. Expected more from a 4 star hotel. Breakfast alone is worth 2 stars. Staff was friendly. Coffee was not good, tea was better.
