The spa is exceptional. Water is warm and relaxing. It is a great experience to swim outside on -1 degrees. This period of year is probably good because it was not crowded just right. Also sauna world was great. There are a few nice restaurants around the spa.

Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged.
Makó is a small but charming city 30km west from Szeged. Also know as the Onion city, hence the onion is a main symbol you can find in many buildings and monuments design. The main reason to go there is Mako Hagymatikum Furdo or just Mako spa complex. With its unique architecture and great indoor and outdoor pools and thermal spas, saunas and facilities, it is a great place to relax and recharge, or just spend time with friends and family in a tranquil and stress free environment. Locals are very friendly, kind and welcoming. Mako is perfect for a weekend get away.

The apartment was very clean and had everything a traveller needs. The mattresses were very comfortable, the rooms were warm and very spacious. After our check out we had already left Mako when our baby needed to be changed. We called Mrs. Helga and she allowed us to use the apartment from which we had already checked out.
