The location of being on O'Connell street is a very good spot, it feels very safe and it's easy to access all sorts of things from here like the buses to hop on tours / day trips / the airport or walk to temple bar area or anything like that. Definitely a tourist area though, if you're looking for the "local" experience you'll have to travel outside of this street (we didn't mind though because we are tourists and we like to not accidentally end up in a shady neighborhood tbh).
The bathroom was fairly spacious, lots of counter space. Though strangely the shower only had a glass wall for halfway and also the knobs were well labelled but took a moment to figure out. Also we thought we had them mastered but then the temperatures didn't work as expected? Turning it colder got hotter so idk what happened. Also shower was only stocked with shampoo, no body wash or conditioner. (It does seem like conditioner isn't common throughout ireland)
Overall this spot did its job of keeping us sheltered and giving us a spot to sleep, but nothing to write home about. Definitely doesn't feel worth the price but that's Dublin for ya.
Overlooking the River Liffey, The Arlington is in the heart of Dublin and home to Dublin’s longest-running traditional Irish dinner and dancing show, which is open everyday.

Perfect location , sitting right on the liffy to the side of the halfpenny bridge. Live music in the bar each night with a Celtic Irish dance show in the function area.

the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated...
the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough.
the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. The restaurant staff were lovely. Drinks and food are overpriced in my opinion.

Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet...
Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel!
Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel! Anyone staying more than one night would go to Dublin or other areas of Fingal, but there is not much in Santry other than the shopping center and DUB airport!!

We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic...
We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic and it was well located for this purpose. There also seemed to be regular shuttles to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The staff were great.
Great hotel very close to the Dublin airport. Their free shuttle service provide very is valuable. Aer Lingus managed to lose all of our luggage on our flight in from Glasgow. About 4 hours later Aer Lingus finally found our luggage and we took the hotel shuttle back over to the airport to obtain it, then shuttled back to our room. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful.
This isn't a holiday inn, it's a crown plaza, however, the hotel shuttle still shows both holiday inn and crown plaza! Booking.com needs to be updated. It's a great airport hotel. It is very convenient to catch the hotel shuttle at the airport and zone 16 is where most of the tour companies pick up so, once again, convenient. Hotel has a very nice restaurant and exceptional breakfast.
We booked the Holiday Inn Express (Dublin Airport), due to arriving back very late from a trip to Italy. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.
Hotel close to the airport with a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Spacious and comfortable room with a modern bathroom that included all the amenities. We went to the restaurant for dinner and it has a nice and relaxing ambience with two different and varied menus. Also, you can easily arrive to the hotel from the center of Dublin by public transportation (bus).
It was in the perfect location for catching an early morning flight the next morning. While the hotel is a bit old and the hallways are tired, they really tried to update the rooms. They are comfortable and nice. Parking was available and while the location was a touch inconvenient the staff really tried to make the process easy.
Great location for the night before an early flight from Dublin airport. The shuttle bus service was very handy. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant was good. We left too early for the included breakfast but provided us with a basic packed breakfast.

A great place we had to come at short notice after a horrible first place we booked and this hotel was sublime good food good location everything perfect
It's a solid choice if you need to be close to Dublin Airport. Restaurant and bar are fine, and the shuttle service to and from the airport is a bonus.
