Coill an Rois B&B, hotel in Ballydavid

Located at the foot of the picturesque Mount Brandon, Coill an Rois B&B offers rooms with attached bathroom, a spa bath and steam room.

The rural location set in the beautiful Irish countryside with adorable sheep grazing just outside your window. Jimmy is an incredibly gracious host who went above and beyond with his recommendations, preparation of delicious breakfasts, and incredibly comfortable accommodations. He even suggested a wonderful castle for us to stop for lunch at during the long drive back to Dublin. This was far and away the best part of our Irish trip, and if we ever return to the Dingle area, we’ll be sure to spend more time at Coil an Rois.

Rainbow hostel, hotel in Ballydavid

Located in Dingle, a 17-minute walk from Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium, Rainbow hostel provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking.

Overall it's a great value, with a good location right outside of Dingle and with nice walking trails and scenery around it. The folks running it are friendly and overall there was a nice vibe. We got a room with two beds and it had plenty of room for us and was comfortable. They're also pet friendly, which was a major plus.

Killfountain Farm, hotel in Ballydavid

This traditional farmhouse is just 1.2 mi from Dingle in Ireland. Rooms at Killfountain Farm has flat-screens TV, private bathrooms.

A great, quiet property within a short (3-4 min) drive to Dingle Town. I really loved how far removed I felt from the world while still being so close to it. The room was spacious and clean and the included bathroom was large with a tub and ample hot water. Basically right on the Slea Head loop. The king size bed was a perfect change from the various beds that I’ve been sleeping in as I travel across the country/world. This is a working dairy farm, so no major bells and whistles here. If you’re looking for a few nights sleep in a peaceful environment, this is your place.

This is a very small village.

This is a very small village. If you are looking for lots of activities within walking distance, this is not the place. The views and walking trails here are lovely, but no shops or restaurants. That being said, the locals are absolutely warm and inviting.

I loved the location, the people, the tranquil location.

I loved the location, the people, the tranquil location. When it is peaceful and quiet. i.e. when the weather is fine it is fantastic. When it is raining, my god does it rain! The beach is perfect for swimming and paddling. The pub staff were superb and friendly and the laid-back attitude felt so welcoming. It was a great change to hear some 70s classic rock playing in the bar instead of the usual Irish folk music but it was at a level that wasn't intrusive. I wish my local pub was as good as this.

The view was perfect, breakfast first class

The view was perfect, breakfast first class B&B was expensive and didn’t met with our expectations. It wasn’t clean , and seems a bit a lack of maintenance. The parking was hectic , you lucky if you find space to park your car for the night. Staff was friendly and helpful but they have no experience at all. We left one day earlier because some primitive guests made noise all night no regard for the families with kids. I cant recommend this B&b for families and I don’t think we ever going back to there.

Everything was great from the time we arrived until left.

Everything was great from the time we arrived until left. We really were not ready to leave when we it was time to go. Our host and hostess were quite lovely and very happy to lead us in the right direction from restaurant referrals to sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and the the options were plentiful. He was very accommodating with food allergies as well as being careful in the kitchen with his food prep, The conversation was quite enjoyable and made relaxing simple and pleasurable. I would go back tomorrow if I could. I will definitely recommend it to others.

A quiet country area with easy access to the beautiful Dingle peninsula. Limited local facilities for meals but only a short drive to Dingle for all the restaurants and shops you might need. Surf could be exceptional in the right conditions.

Very picturesque and quiet place on the Dingle Peninsula.

Very picturesque and quiet place on the Dingle Peninsula. It's not too far from Dingle town but away from the hustle and bustle. We drove but some people who stayed there were hiking. We ate at a country pub called An Bother which was great.

Loved the location! Located above restaurant and bar, next to breakfast room. Breakfast was wonderful. Location is quiet, yet in small town with a couple pubs. Hiking trail along shore near the hotel and beach right out front.

You could not ask for a more picturesque view of the water and green hills of Dingle. There is a great walk around the peninsula adjacent to the hotel that was a favorite of ours for sunset or early morning strolls.
