We had a fabulous night at the Oar. At first, I was just looking for a room and I appreciated the price and its modern picturesque, clean style. But when I discovered about the restaurant, I was amazed. Such a perfect place for special occasions. Everything was so beautiful, well-cared about, lovely staff, extraordinary dishes, attention to details, serving. And the room was comfortable and just as great.

We love Doolin. The food in the pub and restaurants is fantastic and the entertainment is always excellent. Blackie O’Connor is one of our favorite entertainers and we look forward to seeing him when we are in Doolin.
Beautiful town with the nicest people! McGanns Pub is the spot to be, great atmosphere and top notch crowd! Dooling has AMAZING views in every directions, all the cows horses and donkeys one could ever wish to see, and a castle right in town! I am so glad i chose to get Married here! Will be back for sure!
This is a magical place...music everywhere, beautiful ocean views and lovely countryside. It was quite crowded with tourists in late August and that detracted from our desired experience of interacting with the locals. Happy our accommodations were just outside the "center" of town but close enough to walk back after a night of pints! What made up for the crowds of mostly American tourists was the amazing hike up the trails to the Cliffs of Moher with local farmer and B&B host Patrick Dooley. We will return some day, off season, to experience life in Doolin during a quieter time.
Doolin was exactly what I wanted: buccolic countryside dotted with cows, horses and sheep all along the way to the pier. I took a thousand photos of the various animals. Green green grass/pastures and those clouds! Loved the scenery. The two pubs--O'Connors and McGanns--both had lively folkloric live music that I planned on. The ferry to the Arran Island and bike tour on the island was perfect! The cruise to see the Cliffs of Moher I could have skipped. I wished we went to the Burren Forrest for a hike. Beautiful, magical two days. We ate both nights at the restauarant in our hotel, the Fiddle and Bow. Excellent! The lobster was the best I had in Ireland.
Perfect small town, close to a lot of magnificent landscapes, local music at pubs that serve great food! We stayed at the Sleepy leprechaun bed and breakfast- which I have told ALL my friends and family about bc it was the best bed and breakfast experience I’ve ever had! I would rate Doolin at the top of my world travels. It was just so beautiful and peaceful there!
The town of Doolin is small, but packed with gems! We stayed at Cullinan Guesthouse, which was lovely. We were lucky enough to be there on Monday, and had the experience of a lifetime- having a drink or two in Fritz’s during the traditional music session! It was the best music we heard in Ireland the 10 days we were there! And then, we took a tour with farmer Pat walking 5 miles from Doolin along the Cliiffs of Moher- extraordinary!!

Lovely B&B with superb views across the countryside and Atlantic Ocean. The owners were super friendly and, pre-visit, they had already given us dinner recommendations. They took time to explain everything about the town of Doolin and how the breakfasts work in the morning. Superb breakfast which set us up for the day. Owners also very kindly offered to do some washing for us, without charge, as we were 10 days into a three week holiday. Would highly recommend and would visit again if in the area.

The owners were wonderful hosts and the property was an easy walk for us to the shops and restaurants in Doolin. The property seems new and the room was clean and well designed. It was a comfortable place to stay. It was a room only and did not provide access to other parts of the property, which was fine with us. This is a convenient place to stay if visiting the Cliffs of Moher. We took the bus (bus stop nearby) to Liscannor and then walked the cliff path all the way back to Doolin, about 12 miles.
The host Chris was very helpful and provided excellent recommendations of what to do Doolin such as the Burren scenic drive. The room was much bigger than expected, which included a bedroom and a living room. The stay was very clean and tidy, and was at an excellent location close to several restaurants and near the Cliff of Moher coastal trail. My friend and I had a concern and Chris jumped up with no hesitation to get our question resolved.

It was very easy to collect the keys from Hotel Doolin. The staff were extremely friendly and apologetic over the delay for check in. The location was brillant. So central! They also offer a 10% discount for Fitz's restaurant for food which was an excellent touch. The houses were very spacious with great amenities, washer/dryer, garden, microwave etc. Perfect for a few day trip! Bedrooms very spacious and plenty of parking!
Doolin
It was a very clean, comfortable, and modern house. It was located in the village of Doolin (on the edge of town) and in walking distance to the restaurants. There was plenty of free onsite parking. We only stayed one night, but if the itinerary allowed, we would have liked to stay another night or two. It was that nice of a place and there was plenty to see and do there. It was also a very quiet and peaceful area.
Doolin
House was clean and comfortable with good attention to little essentials. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the location, and the kids loved the free WiFi. The location was very central to all Doolin had to offer, and we walked almost everywhere. Within a 3 minute walk is Pub, Restaurant, Hotel, and loads of other facilities.

We had a very comfortable stay and the place was lovely and warm. Kaylem was very friendly, we collected our key at the reception from him in Fiddle and Bow. We had dinner in the hotel Sunday evening and the staff were welcoming and Kaylem went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, thanks so much.
Doolin
Spectacular location - our room was situated with views of a castle on one side and the Cliffs of Moher in the distance on the other. After an afternoon of hiking and driving the hot shower was absolutely incredible. In the evening the host offered us a most appreciated lift into town for dinner and music.

Very nice comfortable, clean room and pleasant decor. Friendly, welcoming host. Nice breakfast. You order the night before and it's ready for you at the agreed time. The property is within walking distance from nice pubs/restaurants and the pretty village of Doolin which has a great atmosphere.

The location is great for visiting the Aran islands…breakfast is very good, but dinner in the hotel was excellent. Best lamb I have had in years.
Easy check in for a wedding reception in Hotel Doolin. The bed was soo comfortable, we'll return one day, just to get another cosy sleep in.

Doolin is a nice village in the center of the Burren. There is a pub where you can have dinner very closed to the B&B.
