Allow your mind to be relaxed, and your body to be pampered, by expertly trained therapists who will soothe away stress and restore your body's natural beauty. Open Monday - Saturday 10:00 - 19:00, Sunday 10:00 - 14:00.

The 19th century styled library offers exclusivity for residents and has been designed to offer guests a hideway to curl up in the leather armchair and finally enjoy that book you have been meaning to read for weeks or even just to have a quiet chat.

The conservatory, overlooking Galway Bay, leads onto the roof top garden, where you can relax and watch the world go by.

Food & beverage

The Lobster Pot Restaurant enjoys magnificent views of Galway Bay from 3 perspectives, which enhances the restaurant's light and tranquil character.

The style of cuisine is modern with a strong emphasis on fresh Irish produce and a particular focus on fresh fish and lobster from the lobster tank, complemented by a fine wine cellar.

Vegetarian options are available on all menus.

All cuisine in the hotel is overseen by Robert Bell, the Executive Chef, who has received many awards over the years for his culinary achievements, most recently including Catering Manager of the Year at the Irish Hospitality Awards in November 2006.

An Scadan Caoc (Herring Choker) is a lively Traditional Irish Pub in every sense of the word, where a warm welcome awaits you. The lounge just off the Scadan Caoc offers a more subdued domain in which to enjoy an evening drink whilst overlooking Galway Bay. Every weekend, the bar features the best in local traditional Irish music. Here, the warm friendly atmosphere is complemented by the perfect pint.

The Galway Bay Hotel offers 153 recently refurbished deluxe bedrooms, designed to cater for your specific needs.

With its newly installed VI Spring Mattresses, which are unique in Ireland to the Galway Bay Hotel, a great night's rest is assured. VI Spring Mattresses are hand-made and have been styled exactly to the hotel's specifications. They are regarded as the benchmark of quality against which all other brands are judged. In production, only the finest of natural materials are used to create a sleeping surface which is breathable, healthier, safer and more sumptuous.

The room was large and comfortable. The view was lovely. The bathroom was big and tub nice for a bath. The breakfast was wonderful and very filling. The staff were very nice. The location was good as well..

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

We were attending a wedding so most of our time was spent in the hotel - we were there for 3 days and found the hotel very comfortable and staff very helpful. The food on the day of the wedding was excellent.

Did order room service the first night, just a sandwich paid r/s price but food was not good - bread was stale! not what i expected.
