Everything was just perfect.
We stayed before, but this time we got a room to the back, and were a bit disappointed. The smokers at the main door were very noisy and woke us up at midnight.
It was ideal for us as a family with children and total number of adults and children (11). Staff were most helpful particularly in the restaurant, and the front desk nothing was any trouble to them, which with children was really important. The fact that the leisure centre was under renovation was more than coped with by free access to the adjacent hotel.
We though that the dinner restaurant prices were on the steep side generally. At €30 plus for two courses and supplements for steak was though to be expensive as was that average price of wine at €27
Very helpful and polite staff Free wifi Free underground car park
Limited dinner menu selection Dinner was poor value for money for the size of the meat portions
The ambience of the place. It was very nice,
Leisure centre was closed
the staff were friendly at all times.the place was lovely and quiet at all times.
Staff price overall value
Too far from the center of the city
We love everything about this hotel. The food is excellent, staff so pleasant and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. Galway Bay hotel in great location.
Friendliness of staff Breakfast excellent variety Location sea view
My booking should have contained one evening meal There wasn't really a buzz around bar and reception Caters more for older people
Everything in the Hotel is old and our room have a really bad smell
The location...the breakfast
The towels were old and gray...the outside needs attention.
Good location for a peaceful break or for family with kids. excellent breakfast, beds were comfortable and we got a quiet room as requested. Also small park near hotel and promenade for strolls.
Hotel not very inviting from the outside, bar could do with a bit of a makeover.
I grew up in Galway, now living in Cape Town, 6,000 miles away so it was great fro me to be 10 mins walk to my eldest sister's home in Salthill and that your hotel enticed another sister and family to stay in in the hotel as well ! Great for Gathering.
Difficult question! The tiny amount of coffee in the Bewleys coffee sachets in our room.
Staff was not friendly or even polite (front desk). Considering the cost associated with a stay at this hotel they were very sub-par. The lowest water temperature in the shower was too hot to stand under. This may be cultural but service (and food) in the restaurant were just barely average.
Location Breakfast Lobby
Was not asked if we enjoyed our stay Camp bed that was falling apart TV was losing its colour
The location of this hotel is excellent! The rooms are very comfortable and large. Wide choice of food for breakfast, with very friendly, helpful staff on hand to help with any request. A number of eating options for dinner within the hotel followed by a drink on the balcony area overlooking the sea. Would recommend this hotel as an ideal base for touring the area. Would certainly return to this hotel, most enjoyable stay.
Had a very pleasant stay...great nights sleep...lovely breakfast and tasty evening meal in relaxing dining room...not rushed ...all very enjoyable.
Honestly no complaints
Amazing location, Receptionist was extremely helpful. Good food.
Bar, it is dark and a bit gloomy. Some of the top floor rooms were a bit claustrophobic for me!
The hotel was lovely. Attended a wedding which was very well managed.
Rude waitress who slammed our food on the table and then took plates without waiting to see were we finished our course. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling. The scrambled eggs at breakfast had shells in them.
Comfortable bed Lovely breakfast, great selection of very fresh food. Buffet was excellent. Great location beside the Prom.
Dated room especially bathroom. No view as we were on second floor and window was quite high up and difficult to see out. Leisure centre very poor, the carpet in bedroom was quite dirty.
nice place right on sea front
1.Best chowder ever. 2.Honesty of the waiter when he realised I had paid far more than the bill by mistake .
location staff friendliness comfort of room and public areas
