Absolutely loved the hotel it was spotless and so welcoming. Had food in the bar and it was incredibly tasty. Can't wait for an excuse to go back again. Temperature controlled rooms too which was great.
Friendly helpful staff
I loved everything about this hotel but there was only 1 thing that left it down
The Douvet quilt on the bed it was so thin even with the blanket we were cold now it was an extreme cold night and I never feel the cold but I didnt sleep well as I was cold they need to replace the Douvet in room 208
The staff were a pleasure
The fact that there was no jacuzzi in the leisure centre no steam room either
The friendly staff ,inviting reception glass seating area, homemade scones with jam and cream. Very comfortable bed and clean room.
Comfortable, well positioned, evening entertainment relaxing in good quality surroundings.
Pool too small
Good family hotel! Excellent buffet breakfast
Everything was fabulous. A group of six girls met for a 50th birthday. The Hotel staff couldn't have been any nicer to us. Would certainly go back.
Disappointed with the size of the pool, no Jacuzzi but there is a sauna.
Lots a families with young children. Great if travelling with a family yourself but as a young couple trying to relax, it wasnt great having a lot of screaming kids running around the hotel and leisure facilities at all times!
Could walk to the promenade which was just outside the hotel, all facilities in the hotel so no need to leave hotel if you didn't want to.
All from location to comfort perfect
i would have liked live music in the bar but it was Sunday night and the bar was very quiet. My wife has a disability and she has difficulty walking, otherwise we would have walked and the lack of music would not affect us.
Breakfast was not great after paying 10e pp the hot food was hard as was the brown bread
From the minute we arrived at the hotel nothing was to much trouble. We arrived at 12.40 and could check in straight away. Credit to the gm very helpful and friendly staff
I loved the warm atmosphere of the hotel the spacious bedroom and the luxurious facilities laid on.
the general appearance and comfort of rooms was good and the new pool was lovely even though it is very shallow.
On both nights we stayed we were refused late service in the bar even though we were residents. Also our car was vandalised in the car park which is very dark.
Staff were very helpful food was excellentl
Lovely bar. Great staff.
Bed uncomfortable, too small.
Loved the location, and breakfast choice was great
My poached eggs were way underdone so I couldn't eat them . The whites were not cooked
location of our room which was over the bar and it was very difficult to relax so we had to leave the room. About 2 am the noise was terrible as people were talking very loudly below and I could not sleep, it was just the poor location of the room.
The bar area ,nice area to sit and relax.
Reception staff (male)bedroom across from gem, very basic. Breakfast was nice when we did get wet tray.Under table and floor not swept for weeks, general breakfast area very untidy.
The spa was closed which upset my Granddaughter, however, we were given passes to use the spa at a nearby hotel.
Lovely, friendly and extremely hospitable. Couldn't fault service, great place to hold a wedding!
Slightly dated decor but charming
Breakfast room staff all great
Workmen using jack hammer in morning outside but it was after 9 so time to be up for lovely breakfast anyway
Comfy bed, good location and tasty breakfast.
