The room was fantastic, the staff very friendly, and the location just 10 minutes walking to the city center.
Access to the gym and swimming pool is excellent.
Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

Loved this hotel. Rooms were huge. Great value for the $. Staff was exceptional. We arrived for breakfast before they opened and they told us no problem, please come in. Best breakfast we had in all of Ireland. Can't say enough good things about this Hotel.

Staying at Muxnaw Lodge is a bit like going to stay at Grandma's House...you instantly feel comfortable and "at home" on arrival! Hannah and her daughter Nina are very outgoing and very receptive to questions, etc. While the property is an older one (and what a history it has!), it is clean and, for the most part, very well-maintained. Our upstairs room was spacious and well appointed; while some might find the older style of furniture and decor a bit "off-putting", we found it wonderful, adding to the overall charm of the property. We felt we got got good value for the price; lots of on-site parking, and wonderfully prepared breakfasts in a well-appointed dining room. Outstanding views of Kenmare Bay from our second-story room.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town.
Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Many restaurants but several were fully booked. Live music in a few even on weeknights. Free parking and toilets across from the church.
This was by far my favorite stay in Ireland! My husband and I regretted that we only stayed one night. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable! The shower was the best we had on our trip. It was walking distance to all the stores and restaurants. Kenmare is a lovely town and I highly recommend it on a road trip in Ireland. I accidentally left some clothes and the owner was nice to ship it to me at my next hotel!
Wonderful staff and the unit was very clean and spacious. Really spoiled us for future sites. Although my kids are teenagers now, this would have been a wonderful option for younger kids, toddlers, or a baby. Nicely put together and very quiet. Although not in the heart of Kenmare, it's a very short 3 minute drive. Felt like you rented an entire 2 story condo. Wonderful Guinness pour in the bar. Very nice.
Bridge Street Townhouse is in the perfect location for the shops, restaurants and pubs, right in the heart of the town. The bedroom was huge with everything you wanted. I have to say the breakfast choice and the breakfast itself was fabulous; best I’ve ever come across even in 5 star hotels. The host was lovely and even gave us some free goodies to take home. Will definitely 💯 stay again.
As the rooms are above a pub, did not have high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised how modern and spacious the rooms were. Unfortunately there was no trad music night of our stay but we did enjoy a nice dinner at the pub. Several other places close by to eat, drink and go for breakfast. Short walk to the Kenmare Stone Circle. Great place to stop en route to Dingle.
It’s a small boutique hotel with modern rooms, nicely appointed and quiet, in a hip corner of Kenmare. There’s a tiny, but very modern restaurant, on the ground floor with exceptional food and wonderful service and a couple of tables on the sidewalk out front. It’s not a thru street, so it’s a lovely spot for tea. Just a minute from shopping, a park, historic sites, etc.
Wonderful hostess!! Great breakfast. Loved the location (quiet) but still close to town. Kenmare is a great small town with enough eateries to satisfy us for 4 nights. Room had a desk plus 2 easy chairs with a small round table between them. Nice views from windows.
Went to Kenmare to view some properties for a hiking trip we are planning. This hotel was not one of the properties we were considering. However after spending the night, chatting with the owner Dermott, we decided this was the property we want to use for the trip.
the location was excellent. Kenmare is a lovely town close to Killarney National Park but much less crowded than Killarney. The rooms were so thoughtfully designed & comfortable-hygge! eat as many meals as possible in the restaurant!
This was a real find. We booked only 2 days in advance and our choices were limited. We wanted to be out of town. But also the price was half that of intown hotels. We'll stay there again next time, and longer.
Fantastic hosting by Margaret she couldn't do enough for us. Slept in the biggest bed I've ever seen, had a great continental breakfast and the town of Kenmare was very vibrant. Would definitely stay there again.
Location is excellent. A 5 minute walk into Kenmare. Scenery stunning.
Hotel cleanliness and comfort excellent, breakfast excellent, staff were great. Two weddings on during my stay and didn’t hear any noise.
A very clean apartment, With comfortable beds & hot showers. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was in walking distance to Kenmare town. A very enjoyable stay.
Everything was perfect in this hotel.
The bed, the huge breakfast, attention, views, close to the town.
The best experience in Ireland.
I totally recomend this place and I will stay here again.
Downtown Kenmare was just a short walk from the B&B which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and was made to order (including many options like eggs, pancakes, cereals, etc)
Helen’s flats were lovely, homey, comfortable places to stay in an excellent location in downtown Kenmare. We loved all the amenities of the flats and the extra personal touches.
Location was good. 3km to the centre of Kenmare town. It's on a bad road so cannot walk but that wasn't a problem for us. The house itself is private and in a lovely area.
