Location within easy walking distance to Main areas. Clean comfortable spacious twin room.
The staff were lovely, and although the decor was a bit dated in my room, the hotel was great value. I had a great sleep and the location was perfect.
The decor could do with a change.
Bed was comfortable, staff were pleasant, room was clean, good location
Old analog TV - very outdated. No residents bar. The wake up call I had requested never happened. Musty smell in hallway.
Location, staff, clean
Noisy traffic, small stuffy rooms, wifi challenging
Poor TV s , had to change room over problem with water the day I arrived , felt it should have been checked before I unpacked as they were aware of problem in certain parts of hotel due to burst pipe . So didn't get settled in easily and was late for appointment I'd made due to this .
location was good
very hot in rooms, no A/C, no mini bar fridge, bathroom needs renovations immediately, not allowed to swim in pool unless you purchased a swim cap. VERY OUTDATED!!!
We thought we had a friendly welcome. The accommodation was all we wanted for a short stay.
Bedside lighting was too bright. Slippery bath
the staff are really helpful and the hotel offers everything you could possibly want. I would definetly use it again.
the double bed against the wall was a bit of a problem as we both need to use the loo several times in the night and the pillows were quite hard.
I have stayed many times in the Gresham and really love it. Easy access to rail and coach station, short walk into City centre. Great food and lovely staff. Hope to go again in November
Great help finding the hotel where I've not visited for many many years and Cork traffic has changed. Helpful car parking and check in. Comfortable large room which I requested, as I was sharing with a colleague, and easy access to wifi
If I'm being picky...a lack of really well made ( toasted not available) sandwiches when we came in from the performance at The Everyman. ....though to be fair, it was late in the evening.
Temp parking at hotel, overnight parking, great staff,
Excellent Location Very comfortable excellent WIfI
Close to City Centre Helpful staff Good rates
Only one small lift Breakfast costly TV antiquated No bath towel on first night
Staff were very helpful, restaurant in hotel was really lovely - food was delicious! There was a group of us there for a friends birthday and the staff were very accommodating and attentive at her birthday dinner. Would strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers. Great central location.
I always liked the olde worlde charme, basic bit good quality and friendly staff. The pool is kitsch and very good.
The room was so cramped with my young son it was claustrophobic. The breakfast room staff were barely polite and seemed sleepy. I had to request cutlery. The self service buffet was dried out. For a one hundred euro room I would at least expect friwndly staff and a decent breakfast. Won't be going nack.
first stay at the Gresham, cannot fault facilities or location, excellent all round and exceptional value for money.
Room was excellent, bed a little bit hard but for the money cannot fault it, lift a little bit slow given the size of the hotel.
Lovely views, beds comfortable, had a great meal that night.
Breakfast ,charged an extra 10€ each for a cold breakfast, not edible.staff was really rude in the breakfast room only,
A great location with wonderful staff .Housekeeping was to a very high standard .It would be difficult to find anything negative to say about it .
Location - very Central
Room and we were incorrectly charged the wrong rate - this was subsequently fixed. Did not like it as much when we had stayed previously
The staff were extreamly helpfull & attentive and Sara is an true Irish jewel
The view from the restaurant during the breakfast
The Wi-Fi signal is not good in some areas
The location was great near to everything
The room was very small and for the money you spent on your break away it wasnt good enough to be honest
Breakfast was ok. Staff were great
My "view" from the bedroom window was a wall about 2 feet away. Insulation was terrible making it noisy and the bathroom was very old.
