welcoming Irish staff
children running riot all sun afternoon I. reception. they should have been in the privater room with their party
Superb service from all staff, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Superior room really was 'superior' with sea views to die for. Beds were the most comfortable I have slept in for ages, with the roll of the waves as the only sound. Slept like a log! A full Irish breakfast, with lots of healthy options, all included in the special offer. An early morning walk on the almost deserted beach; a wonderful way to start the day. This setting, on a long, sandy Atlantic beach, is truly remarkable. Will most definitely return.
Nothing - all good it not great!
Perfect location for a relaxing break.Lovely to look at the sea and listen to the gentle breaking of the waves first thing in the morning. Staff very friendly and pleasant .
It might be nice to have a pool in the hotel .
The location overlooking the sea is insurpassable. The staff were most obliging, friendly and discrete. The food was as good as promised. The bedrooms are large containing a wide variety of seats meeting the needs of all ages and ability ranges. I loved my time in the Sandhouse and look forward to a return visit. Sincere thanks.
Superpower location, well appointed rooms quality food, freshly cooked breakfasts and staff always ready to accommodate personal requirements. Will always be a favourite with us.
The sea views were stunning. Meal was good . A good experience on a stormy weekend .
As it was a stormy night the rafters creaked above us . One of the radiators was not working .
The food in the restaurant was amazing. The location of the hotel, is simply wonderful, in two minutes you can walk on the beach
my room was near the outside ventilator so I couldn't hear the waves
enjoyed our stay, walk to the smugglers creek bar and restaurant, a must
Food location weather
The food was superb. The views of the beach were stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel ooze's with character.
The bedrooms are slightly out dated.
very good choice of menu
no entertainment at nights
The location was excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good. A bit pricey but good. The menu should vary somewhat. It’s an extremely beautiful place and should be updated.
They should supply water in the room to drink and make coffee. Had to go down to the bar to buy a bottle of water which most every hotel supplies. The flour in our room creaked. Every step one walked made noise. The outlets were unsat. One face plate of one outlet came out when we tried to plug in our cell phone. There wasn’t an outlet to plug in when one dryed their hair to see with a mirror. Had to sit on the floor to dry hair as the only outlet was over by the TV. Also, there wasn’t much power for the hair dryer as it kept going out and there wasn’t anything wrong with it as used it in all the other hotels after staying there. Also, the fire alarm went off and we weren’t advised what happened we had to call the front desk and was told someone had hit it by mistake. We all ran out in the hall and then it stopped so I called to see what had happened.
The location is beautiful and although we hadn't reserved a room with a view, we were delighted to be looking right on to the beach. The staff are most welcoming and attentive.
food view staff friendly
everything! the attention to detail makes this hotel an ideal holiday hotel, not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Friendly helpful staff, and excellent food.
Everything! The best thing was the service - from the moment we arrived until we left. The restaurant staff were particularly good. They were immediately on hand but were never overly obtrusive - one only had to look up and someone would be heading to your table. Excellent quality food was delivered amazingly fast. Other hotels should send their staff here to see how its done!
Loved the location sea views and the friendliness of staff. Having been there last year also cant wait to return.
Location is stunning as was the view from our bedroom.Staff were really nice.
Decor.Ruched blinds need a wash and the lift needs all those fingerprints wiped off.The low radiator in the front seating area needs painting.
The hotel on the beach was so relaxing. The food and service very good
Lack of evening entertainment, it could have been a bit more lively and I think most people would stay around the hotel.
Perfect location, lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff and good food. Sea view rooms are amazing!
Loved the stunning beach spotless, there could have been more to do in the area not a lot around the area.. staff in hotel were so lovely polite and could not have done more. breakfast was huge also starters probley to big before main course found it hard to finish dinner. but we would def be back.
I loved the bed, it was so comfy and the view was spectacular.
The room was very warm we had to leave the windows open slightly at night to cool the room down but we didn't mind in the slightest as we could hear the sea, it was beautiful
Location, restaurant and restaurant staff. Dinner, breakfast.
Shabby dated furniture and decor. Musty smell in drab room.
