The location of being on O'Connell street is a very good spot, it feels very safe and it's easy to access all sorts of things from here like the buses to hop on tours / day trips / the airport or walk to temple bar area or anything like that. Definitely a tourist area though, if you're looking for the "local" experience you'll have to travel outside of this street (we didn't mind though because we are tourists and we like to not accidentally end up in a shady neighborhood tbh).
The bathroom was fairly spacious, lots of counter space. Though strangely the shower only had a glass wall for halfway and also the knobs were well labelled but took a moment to figure out. Also we thought we had them mastered but then the temperatures didn't work as expected? Turning it colder got hotter so idk what happened. Also shower was only stocked with shampoo, no body wash or conditioner. (It does seem like conditioner isn't common throughout ireland)
Overall this spot did its job of keeping us sheltered and giving us a spot to sleep, but nothing to write home about. Definitely doesn't feel worth the price but that's Dublin for ya.
Overlooking the River Liffey, The Arlington is in the heart of Dublin and home to Dublin’s longest-running traditional Irish dinner and dancing show, which is open everyday.

Perfect location , sitting right on the liffy to the side of the halfpenny bridge. Live music in the bar each night with a Celtic Irish dance show in the function area.
This central Dublin hotel is located on Harcourt St. off the south west corner of St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin City Center. All major attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.

The room was nothing like what I seen on website, very small dated and noisy with the boiler constantly going through out the night felt like it was in the bed with us. Staff had no good communication when we arrived. The photos did not match the room that I was given very over priced for what we got. Felt ripped off. The bed wasn't comfy
With modern rooms, the Travelodge Dublin Airport is just 5 minutes' drive from the main airport terminal. Free WiFi with unlimited data for all devices is available throughout the hotel.
the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated...
the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough.
the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. The restaurant staff were lovely. Drinks and food are overpriced in my opinion.

Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet...
Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel!
Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel! Anyone staying more than one night would go to Dublin or other areas of Fingal, but there is not much in Santry other than the shopping center and DUB airport!!

We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic...
We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic and it was well located for this purpose. There also seemed to be regular shuttles to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The staff were great.
I should clarify that this is for the Crowne Plaza, not Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle driver told us when we were picked up at the airport that we were going to the “sister hotel”. And sure enough they had our reservation.
That being said, we had a very comfortable stay. Just an overnight to get back to the airport. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The buffet in the morning was spectacular, I wish I could have had a leisurely breakfast rather than rushing off. The airport shuttle was very convenient.
We booked the Holiday Inn Express (Dublin Airport), due to arriving back very late from a trip to Italy. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.
The hotel is located near to the airport and offers a free bus transport of every 30 minutes 24/7! The bus stop is near to the hotel you can get to the centre in approxymently 30 min. Also the area is very nice with a big green park. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing. We definitely recommend this hotel and wish to back here soon.
The room was excellent. We were upgraded without requesting it. The room was clean and inviting. And we were given a handicapped parking spot for our car as my husband is disabled and has difficult walking any distance. The dinner menu was excellent and the food very good. The hotel is very convenient to the airport, for flying out.
Great stay near the airport! The staff at the front desk were lovely. The shuttle was extremely convenient and I felt the drivers went above and beyond. The restaurant food was tasty and I recommend booking in the breakfast option. I will definitely be staying here again next time I have a layover in Dublin.
Holiday Inn Express is actually closed. You are redirected to the crown plaza hotel next door. Lovely room. Excellent, extensive breakfast buffet. Free shuttle to the airport every half hour, but not available in the middle of the night when we needed it.
Great location for the night before an early flight from Dublin airport. The shuttle bus service was very handy. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant was good. We left too early for the included breakfast but provided us with a basic packed breakfast.
Great hotel with great amenities - good restaurant, excellent transport to/from airport. Room was well stocked, clean and quiet. Staff were excellent. Morning breakfast was great and was well stocked with standard fare. Well prepared.
The hotel was closed and we wasted money traveling to it and were sent to another place. It was a great place, but a heads up that this one was closed would have been great. Thanks - Jamie
I like the crown plaza hotel thats where I stay coz this hotel is closed. So my rate 8s for the crown plaza hotel. The Hilton is closed they moved me there without notice at all.
Very friendly personnel, reception is very informative (e. g. using buses to go downtown Dublin, recommendation of restaurants). WLAN is very fast. Airport shuttle free of charge.
Dinner was very good in the bar, good value car parking, staff were very helpful and friendly, hotel is only a few minutes from Dublin airport with a regular shuttle bus
rooms were very comfortable and breakfast although it cost extra was well worth it. staff were very helpful and secured us taxis into Dublin very quickly.
