Mullaghbeag Lodge offers accommodations in Navan, 3.3 miles from Solstice Arts Centre and 6.2 miles from Navan Race Course.

Mullaghbeag Lodge is an amazing place to stay for a self drive exploring the Boynne valley. The facilities were spot on! Everything you need in a self catering Lodge.Very clean! Great parking, and a short drive away to a supermarket for supplies. If you fancy a few beers, then a taxi into Navan costs about 10 euros. We even had the use of Netflix and Amazon TV to take in a film after a long day taking in the beautiful sites! This was an added bonus! Patrick and family were very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend staying here

I really enjoyed the trip and Tours to trim a castle in a little town of Trim! Also, the trip to Bru na Boone to the buried tombs, is definitely a worthwhile visit. Make sure you buy your ticket in advance and make sure you sign up to see both Newgrange and Knowth

Room was extremely dark, even with lights on. Central light in room not working. Not great for getting ready to leave for a sons wedding in another location. Son who was the groom was in room next door and lighting very poor also. Pulled back all curtains but then others outside could see in.

So much to do in the area.

So much to do in the area. I loved the scenic drives and historic buildings. Shame you have to book online for some things. Not everyone has this facility. Also some places have stopped taking cash and a lot of people still want to pay cash for things.

The town is quite small and compact and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. When we were there it was packed with young kids and youths (late afternoon/early evening). Not sure if this is a regular thing. You can get a direct bus from Dublin

Well, it's my home town, so what can I say? I wish I'd never left it. The amenities and general have greatly improved over the last 55 years, but then the town has also got bigger - from 5,000 population to over 30,000.

Unfortunately we only had one night's stay. Great shopping Centre with lots of shops to browse around. Plenty places to eat out. Plenty Bars and we had dancing in the Bar of the Ardboyne Hotel which was very close to The Yellow House B&B where we stayed. Really enjoyed our night out in Navan and it was great to get around walking all the time we were there and not have to get Taxi's.

Location includes beautiful areas for a relaxing walk, including a small garden-like area with follies. Zoe was responsive to inquiries with useful information to help us plan. Be sure to start your day off right with a walk to the tearoom for breakfast. If you can, visit the ruins of Bective Abbey just a few miles away. If you want good food and a pint in downtown Navan, try The Central. Navan is not so close to Brú na Bóinne as Drogheda, but the drive from Navan is scenic and really doesn't take very long, so if you have motor...

The Groom's Cottage is a special place, an outbuilding on a historic Irish estate that goes back at least to the 17th century, amid a grove of tall trees in the Meath countryside. Hosts were friendly and provided everything we needed, but entirely hands-off. We would have enjoyed staying more than two nights. Location is very central to see the ancient and historic sites of the Boyne Valley. Pubs and restaurants are around 10-15 minutes away in Navan or Johnstown.

Firstly this bed and breakfast is very deceiving as it’s like a little hotel very spacious and is much bigger than it seems we stay in lots of hotels throughout Ireland and our most recent one been a four star and the breakfast here was far superior than that of a hotel was piping hot and freshly made can certainly say was one of the best I have had was very impressed with this accommodation and will definitely return staff were very helpful also

Gorgeous period home converted to a hotel, the whole hotel was beautifully decorated with some quirky aspects which we loved. The room was spacious, bathroom was huge! Lovely and warm, on a very cold day, and smelt nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happy to chat with us about the house itself. We didn't see or use the spa but it was included in our booking which we thought was a great benefit!

There environment was fantastic, being around the thoroughbreds and seeing their foals was a real treat. The grounds were amazing including the gardens and the chainsaw sculptures. The tea house breakfast was convenient and great quality. We weren't able to take advantage of the three mile path around the property but it's definitely on our list next time. Many restaurants in Navan only a 10 minute drive.

Lovely modern, cozy, spacious guesthouse very close to navan. Staff were very helpful and kindly gave us a lift into town. Got a lovely breakfast with great choice to suit all needs *including gluten free bread which many places do not offer. Coffee was also beautiful and not just filter coffee. I would highly recommend staying at balreask and would come back here again.

The Ardboyne was our first stop in Ireland and it definitely set the tone for our whole trip. The facilities were luxurious and the pub/restaurant was reasonably priced and very appetizing. The staff was very helpful from me forgetting my toothbrush to answering my myriad of questions. I couldn't ask for a better welcome to Ireland. Thanks.
