distance from town centre but not big issue. great hotel
Everything about this place was great :)
ordered a snack at the bar and chose a seat to read after a long journey and wS TOLD BY THE BARMAN THAT I I ordered a snack at the bar after a long journey and chose a seat only to be told by the barman I had to sit in a certain area not where I could read and relax don't see why as it was not busy and no seats were reserved I
Food was delicious. Leisure centre was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The 2 musicians who played on Friday night 17th Oct were brilliant.
Couldn't get a cappucino after dinner on both nights
large room plenty of space tea/coffee Buffet breakfast - lots of well/done/ cooked food
No mirror light in bathroom or bedroom- a definite issue for women preparing to go out!!! Hot Water_hand basin water was cold at night in my room
The bed wasn't big enough and not that comfortable,
Lovely town, hotel have a lot of different facilities, the room we got was very clean and tidy. Front counter staff was nice.
Someone stepped in our room very early in the morning, definitely gave chills. Two twin beds pushed together, very slippery bathtub, bathroom door without lock.
Quality rooms, free parking, great swimming pool, and very helpful at printing our boarding passes for future flights. Staff polite and informative.
Somewhat slow internet
We went to reception to check in only to discover they had no record of our booking. I had booked via this website and the hotel had actually rang me to confirm on the Thursday. But on the Saturday, we had disappeared off the system. V confusing and annoying. Thankfully they had a room available but it was something we could have done with out on a Saturday evening.
A bit confusing trying to find our room as we needed to go through a function room to access the elevator. A member of staff actually showed us to our room. Very helpful.
It was very roomy and easy to spread out. Excellent good size bathroom as well.
Not the hotel's fault but someone had been smoking in the room before me.
Good value for money accommodation Close to bus route into town
walls were thin and revellers arriving home in the early hours of the morning woke us up Breakfast was not included in our rate and we thought what was on offer was over-priced
handiness to city, and to the country
breakfast was fair to reasonable, but dinner on the 1st night was awful. Blood visible on my chiken wings, 3 of our party had crispy cod which was soft and soggy, signature curry which if I made at home myself, would be classed as disappointing.
Location, staff were excellent and very welcoming. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms
Some carpets were showing wear
The friendliness of the staff, service and facilities
Maze trying to get to my room in the D wing
This is our second time staying at this hotel and it won't be our last. Great location 2 mins in a taxi from the city center. Staff are very friendly. Live music in the bar is fab if u don't want to hit the town and excellent food.
We payed for 2 nights with breakfast and our second morning the queue was crazy long after about 10 min's we left.
Location was slightly out of town. It was a 20 min walk to Galway. Bus stop was close. WiFi was great.
Beds were not good. Beds had permanent indentation. Rooms did not smell good. Rooms were awkward; room door opened to a small room with 3 doors: 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One door locked and the other two open. If someone knocked on the door and you were in bed, you are not able to hear them. There were 6 of us sitting at the bar. 4 of us ordered dinner. 2 just wanted drinks but was told they had to drink at the bar and couldn't sit with us unless they ordered food!?!
the comfort of the room and happy lively bar.
Evening Meal very nice and loads of helpings. Staff in dining room pleasant and chatty.
Too hot in the dining room with having to eat, just cut down heat a little..
There was three of us and I would of liked a room with three beds instead of a double and single also there was only two cups and not enough milk and coffee
Food was good
The plates and cups were all wet for breakfast and staff could be managed better at mealtimes
Everything, friendly staff, good clean rooms, great food.Wi fi not great in bedrooms, hit and miss, but that is a very small thing for a great quality hotel.
Swimming Pool. Hotel location made for easy, pleasant stroll to shops
It's a big building and to reach your room it takes quite imagination!
location, staff, room, couldn't fault anything. been there 5 years in a row never been disappointed!
??????still trying to think of something????sorry nothing negative!
