Location great Young and vibey atmosphere Staff helpful and try and overcome any deficiencies
The staff was absolutely extraordinary and the hotel has a great atmosphere and all comforts, including bicycles to go around the city. The location is perfect and you can choose where you wish to have breakfast amongst several very nice bars nearby. Truly recommended without any doubts!
staff - really friendly and helpful, polite, a felt like I was talking with friends everytime I spoke with them. Room - it was a bit small but was very practical, nicely finished and appointed, really nice bathroom, welcome bottle of red wine and local hand-made chocolates on my bed when I arrived and a bottle of herbal tea everynight. Breakfast - on arrival you are given a list of nearby cafes and restaurants to go for the included breakfast. This is an excellent idea: all the cafes were superb, easy to reach within a few minutes, great service and superb breakfasts, also its a way to see the city and acclimatise to the place and see local people rather than sit in a boring sterile hotel cafe (which Brown does not have anyway). Breakfasts were so big I only had lunch once in the whole week and went all the way through to dinner without feeling hungry. I also loved the room service food: arriving tired on my first night I ordered a zucchini and lime pizza. Seriously, this was one of the best pizza's I have ever had anywhere in the world. The bar - seriously good cocktails. Because of the winter weather during my trip I couldn't make use of the rooftop terrace or jacuzzi so cannot comment on those, but they looked good.
just a couple of small things barely worth mentioning, so I wont!
Location and the staff
rather dark in the room
Staff was GREAT!! Most speak multi languages (one even spoke Hebrew, English, French & German, WOW). The location of the hotel is perfect. Smack in the best place in TLV with minutes walking distance to the center on one side and Jaffa on the other; not to mention its situation smack on the border of Neve Tzedek.
The facilities are relatively limited: 1. The ground floor "bar" is NOT smoking free and very restricted. Even hotel guests cannot enjoy it without having a pre-booked reservation!! Other guests smoke there, which tarnishes any joy of sitting, listening to music, and drinking. 2. The hotel does not serve breakfast on the premises. Guests are offered b-fast at restaurants nearby (5-10 minutes walk), which in principle is ok. BUT.... they do not offer "Israeli" brekfast and the menu is relatively restricted. In addition, if one wishes for a "large" cappuccino, instead of the normal sized, one is required to add payment for it (at café Lulu). Totally unacceptable!!
Everything especially customer crevice
Friendly and helpfull excellent personel. Comfortable beds Clean rooms Birenbaum Cafe for excellent breakfast
Small rooms Noisy environment especially very noisy building construction work near the hotel.
Vouchers for choice of nearby cafes for excellent breakfast. Very convenient for downtown. Comfortable bar, and jacuzzi on roof with views. Intelligent , empowered and helpful staff. Great outsourced laundry and good value.
Very lively till late at weekends, with young clientele and music ( though quiet in the week). Popular with locals.
Very helpful staff, welcomed us (late at night) with a bottle of sparkling wine, gave us great advice about where to go eat and helped us with our requests promptly and cheerfully. Good location. Boutique hotel for mature and business travellers, not so much for families with children. Bicycles are available from the hotel. Level of professionalism in hospitality was several levels above the big resort hotels we stayed in at Eilat and the Dead Sea.
Rooms very small (not surprising given the urban location). Very limited parking facilities.
That Breakfast was at a choice of local cafes - v close to the beach and great area for exploring tel aviv - quirky hotel in an excellent place
Would have liked to be able to make Tea/coffee in the room
Staff were genuinely helpful
The hotel was hard to find
Good location, friendly personnel.
The room was so small.
Really nice rooms, perfect for singles and couples, not that perfect with kids maybe. Great terrace with an amazing view, super delicious cocktails at the bar. The staff is really nice and helpful as well.
The room climate wasn't that good. It was way too hot.
Great location in city. Staff knowledge of city very good. Giving guests "included" breakfast options around town...excellent. Wifi strength in room good enough.
Room 307 had strong smoking smell, esp with AC on. I should have been moved or offered a discount. The sink & faucet are poorly designed. Can't wash hands without spilling water. During shower, water flows onto floor outside. When sitting on the toilet, feels like you're "in" the bedroom. Loud construction across street began at 6:AM. This of course will pass, but it's poor guest relations to not offer a discount or voucher for a meal to show that the management cares.
- Sitting with the 'complimentary(!)' bottle of wine in the pool at the rooftop at midnight and watch the city lights - Perfect location, amazingly friendly and caring stuff - Their breakfast concept is the best I have ever seen. You can choose between several great cafés in the neighborhood and get your breakfast from the menu there (if you own a hotel, please think about copying that idea!)
Tiny room Noisy private party on hotel roof
Superb staff who will do everything they can to help, this hotel is situated near everywhere in the centre. Possibly the funkiest hotel in TLV.
We liked the staff and the warm welkome!
Excellent and friendly staff; great bar; great lobby; fantastic location; high-quality finishing.
Size of room (tiny)
Very kind staff, always with a smile and whiling to help. Hotel was very clean, room was nicely furnished with a music box to attach your phone. A bottle of Cava was waiting for us at the room which added a lot to the very romantic atmosphere.
Even the room is really small - the bad is amazing and the decor is beautiful. Very clean and high tech
Smallest room ever!!! - no space for even 1 suit case. No room service
Hip design, very friendly staff, and good location, Great bar and roof terrace
Tiny rooms, very dark
Very good location Cozy Good food in downstairs bar. Really liked everything about that bar. Nice decor and atmosphere. Roof top bar was nice but not in operation due to rockets.
Rooftop hot tub not hot enough - minor issue.
I liked everything !!! I loved this beautil Hotel in the middle of NEVE TZEDEK. The style and deco are so beautiful. I truly recommend this charming Hotel.
