Only 2-3 place to see, very nice restaurants where you get south and north indian dishes esp Coonoor Junction was superb. Better to take your own Car to move around. Not to venture out at night time since there are no street lights.

Coonoor is an ideal place for an weekend trip from Coimbatore. Not much for sigh seeing, its more suitable for idle and relaxed weekend. Choose some good resort and chill.
Try toy train for either coming to going out of Coonoor. It's worth it.
Go for Ooty, after Coonoor if you have longer vacation.
The property is located a just little away from the hustle bustle of the town yet very close to the main center. The owner of the property, Mr. Gerald, is a warm and friendly person who has immense knowledge of the place and helped us in planning some part of the tour. He also accompanied us for sightseeing and took us to off beat places which are generally not frequented by regular tourists. He has made our two days trip to Coonoor memorable and we will visit again sooner that later.
Camellia Heights is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!
The views were the best, out of the world. The rooms were excellently maintained with all amenities to experience a luxury living.
Lakshman, the resort manager and his staff were very courteous and professional. They were kind enough to oblige to all our requests to make our stay comfortable..
The food was very homely and delicious.
I would highly recommend this resort and prefer to stay next time I visit Coonoor. We took a nice walk in the tea gardens right behind the hotel
The lawn, the bonfire, the walk at night during misty night (we stayed for 2 nights and it rained both nights - amazing experience). The staff is very polite and helpful. They have a small activity room with a pool table, carrom and a TT table which is OK. My kid was very excited, playing with the ducks and swings. Food was good in quality and taste. Of course not as lavish as a 5 star.
I went on a business trip to Coonoor and stayed in Coonoor Mountain Stay.
It is a fantastic location. The road is very steep and bumpy but do not hesitate.
At the end we saw a very very good location. It was really a memorable stay.
You cannot expect a star hotel quality but the staffs and service is really good.
Lilly akka's veg biryani is worth a try. The host was a girl volunteering ,I think the vibe became quite friendly because of her. The view is nice from the hostel.
The property owner was there to attend. Overall, it's a good place to stay in coonoor on a medium budget over the quill hill road.
I booked this property over booking.com.
It was confirmed, but after reaching the property, i was told the rooms were full.

I have to book another one which cost me double
Venkateshwara anna and his family are very kind and humble people. They took very good care of us. Apart from that the breakfast and dinner in the cottage is excellent. The rooms are very neat n clean just like any other 5 star hotels. It's really worth for money and time to spend
