The small city of Coonoor was one of our favorite places. Cool weather. Beautiful town built into the hillsides. Great place to walk. Excellent place to stay. Our rom had big windows looking south to the hills. To get there, take a tuk tuk ride or good steep walk up the hill from the main town. Owner Gerald very knowledgable and helpful. Gave us a lift to the bus when we left. The shower had a curtain you could pull, to keep the rest of the bathroom floor from getting wet. An amazing innovation compared to most of our other rooms in India. Highly recommend a tuk tuk tour of beautiful winding roads through the nearby countryside, including Dolphins Nose.

Panoramic view from the window of the room , rooms are very spacious and the place is located in very peaceful neighbourhood, yet close to some very good cafes and restaurants. Gerald is very helpful and provided quick response to all our queries. Provided good recommendations for places to eat and helped us with sightseeing in very limited time we had. The property is located a just little away from the hustle bustle of the town yet very close to the main center. The owner of the property, Mr. Gerald, is a warm and friendly person who has immense knowledge of the place and helped us in planning some part of the tour. He also accompanied us for sightseeing and took us to off beat places which are generally not frequented by regular tourists. He has made our two days trip to Coonoor memorable and we will visit again sooner that later. Camellia Heights is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Gerald the owner made us fell very welcome.We selected an indian breakfast which was amazing.Lovely towels and bed sheets. Spotless and spacious.Fantastic views. Great price. Fantastic location. Great facilities. The photographs do not do it justice. We were blown away with Gerald's hospitality who gave us the the opportunity to order indian food from a local resident which was brought to us. His caretaker was also amazing cooking anything we wanted and happy to look after our every need. All correspondance was prompt. The views are to die for. I highly recommend this place. Don't miss out!

The panoramic view was very nice with large windows. The room was very spacious. The owner was helpful, giving us a lift back to the station which was kind of him. The breakfast was wonderful, hot and tasty Indian food. (Best we had in India). Location great for view and pleasant walk (quite long) to Coonoor and Park.
