Friendly staff good atmostphere my second stay this year
if next room people went to the loo we could clearly hear the noise from our room of the flushing. Also the air con was poor had to tell reception to turn it on in the middle of the night. Not 5* in my opinion i would rate it 3*.
Good breakfast - clean rooms - nice staff:-)
The staff of the hotel is very friendly and well responsive. Was surprised to see a birthday cake for my father,s birthday in the room.
They have improved a great deal on the food. The food was real tasty this time. Earlier the tastes were OK, but this time around there has been a marked improvement.
The check in process could have been a bit faster. I felt they are a little short staffed on the check in counters.
The hotel is a *****-hotel at very reasonable rates (read however carefully the conditions on taxes etc which come in addition to the mentioned rates) the restaurants, swimmingpool are perfect. to get access to wifi is a little bit confusing since one has to agree with high prices, but at the end of the day it is - as promised - complimentary the hotel is well located in that it is close to Conaught place (15 minutes walking), but the streets are inhabited by many homeless people and are dark at night, so this may be a bit confronting
The location was good and the room was clean. The staff was helpful and responded promptly
The breakfast was very cheap, the hotel itself looks old and not maintained, by far NOT a 5 star hotel, more like 3
I didnt like the food, the hotel taxi is expensive, and the wifi should be free in a 5 star hotel
I liked Japanese restaurant, Sakura in the hotel. Good quality. Hotel's staff was friendly and helpful.
Pool area, comfortable rooms
Could be cleaner, extra charges per night, charge for wifi, no real public spaces to relax
Location, breakfast spread was good, Beds were comfortable
Carpets were dirty. No slippers in Room, Kettle plug could not be inserted in the required socket...had to use another. Breakfast service was poor
Everything was wonderful, near to the center and in quite place as well , if it will be a next time in Delhi sure i will stay in metropolitan.
Rooms are well maintained and very spacious. I was able to negotiate and got free WIFI after extending my stay for couple of days.
I stayed during the World Cup, and could not watch the game either in my room or at the Bar. I have to go The Park Hotel (few blocks away) to watch the game. Other than the above, I have no problem with my stay.
Secure hotel close to Connaught Place. Good 5 star value.
Delhi is a novel and interesting tourist location with some very confronting sights.
I am a regular visitor at this hotel in Delhi, I like the location, food, service & comfort.
Location is really good. The breakfast is good.
There was a diesel oil power generator running all night. We could sleep anyway, but the noise was quite annoying. We have been charged twice the amount of 275.00 INR for concept 'Service Charge On Room'. We do not know what this concept is as we did neither ask nor have any Service On Room. Furthermore, we neither consume from the mini bar. We asked reception for a towel that was missing on the room, but it would be unacceptable being charged for this, as a missing towel is their fault. Having said that, we should have reviewed the invoice carefully and ask the receptionist before paying leaving.
Clean and secure
Unsafe to walk out at night and nothing close by anyway. It was a good place if you wanted to remain within hotel
Spa, and Travel Desk's assistance in providing a car everyday. Excellent buffet at Zing resto, and good food at its indian and chinese resto.
When i checked in at 2 a.m., the reception had only one person, and he didn't seem very welcoming (probably sleepy). That's not what you want to see when you are visiting a country for a first or second time! The view is somewhat bad on the left wing of the hotel (factory) - so we let our windows and curtains closed at all times (you are better off, any way)!
food,but too expensive
Everything is perfect
The food as very good
The hotel in a good location on the way to a famous sikh temple, worth visit in Delhi. The staff (I need to mention Pankag and his college in reception) are very helpful and breakfast is great covering all sections of the world. There are two good Bengali restaurants near by serving Indian and Chinese food. Location is the key as many famous places are with in the 5km zone.
No clear menu choises in the in house restaurants and room service menu is limited with little options.
Close to Connaught Place but just far enough to be calm and peaceful. Also very close to the Airport Express Metro Station. Very nice rooms, good food, etc.
A bit pricy. You can always choose to eat elsewhere!
Had some issues with water pipes
