Service was excellent. Staff were extremely courteous and anticipated our needs. Good place to crash for a night or two in Port Blair on the way back from the other islands or to figure out arrangements/permits. About ten minutes from the airport.

Nice place to spend 2-3 days. you can cover the city in one day. Start your day early by visiting Ross island and doing water sports activities. You can be back by lunch time if not going to Northern bay. After lunch, you can go to museum and then in the evening go to cellular jail at around 4 PM. You can visit the jail in 1 hr and end your day by watching the light and sound show which starts at 5:30 PM. Don't forget to book you show ticket online in advance. It is not available offline.
Next day, you can move away from city towards chidiyatapu beach and take a resort nearby to relax. You can watch sunset at chidiyatapu beach. Plese reach there timely as the beach closes at 5 PM.

Port Blair isn't in itself that interesting.
Port Blair isn't in itself that interesting. But it is where the int. airport is. And it is the stepping stone to outer islands. What I like is there are so few foreign tourists in Port Blair - but then this actually applies for all of the Andamans. The tourists a mainly mainland Indians. I also liked that Port Blair wasn't bigger - but that off course is a matter of taste. It is fairly pleasant town. Fairly clean and safe. The people of Port Blair are polite and helpfull.

Great place for sightseeing, nice vibe, friendly locals and good food.
Tuk Tuks are a cost effective way of getting around.
The best food and service we had was in the Lalaji Restaurant, the breakfast was particularly good.
We didn’t like Corbin Cove which was litter strewn so would definitely avoid going there again.

Port Blair is fantastic place. we visited the cellular Jail that was heart touching after watching the laser show which said the story of freedom fighters. the beaches nearby were good. islands from Port Blair viz. Havelock (Radha Nagar beach ) Neil (elephant beach and Kala Pathar ) and Bhartang were superb. we can witness some tribes while travelling to Bhartang via forest area. photography and stopping at any place in the forest area is prohibited. Lime stone cave was excellent though the length was just 100 metes long. the dense mangrove trees were awesome to see. Natural bridge is one of the attractions in Neil Island. we could witness sunset at Radha Nagar beach

We liked the visit of Ross Island (a short boat trip and an e-buggy ride from the port to the lighthouse side of the island) and the Cellular jail. The city itself is pretty much the typical picture of Indian cities. A lot of (for us pretty chaotic) traffic, small shops along the streets with pretty unattractive facades during the day, but all neon-lighted during the evening. The first thing we noticed was that there are proper pedestrian corridors along the main roads (not blocked with all kind of stuff and not decorated with litter like we've seen in most of the other cities). The museums that were on our list as possible points of interest were unfortunately closed on Monday, the last day of our stay.
There are also several attractive beaches in less than an hour car drive from the city centre, but only one was open for swimming during our stay. The beaches are worth of admiration but of course you cannot expect to enjoy the natural beauty of these beaches alone, expect to be accompanied by numerous tourists coming to Andaman with 22 daily domestic flights (according to our taxi driver).
Welcomed with a smile and a welcome drink. Very neat and clean. They have a bar and restaurant. Food is decent. Rooms have intercom.
This hotel is nearby the airport(10-15 mins ride), staff and owner are very Helpful and seeks feedback for improvement. They guide you to plan your tour and assist in cab bookings.
If you have to travel early morning (before breakfast time), they make you some tasty sandwiches. The owners son prepared it for us on both the days. While leaving he also arranged for auto to the ferry.
The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are very neat including bathrooms. We did face couple of challenges like heater not working and AC was always too cold irrespective of the temperature settings. However, the staff was very responsive and gave us a quick resolution. Staff guide you properly about all the things you can do in Port Blair and also give you the right prices for every activity you wish to do. This place was an excellent budget stay option.
This was one place which i found exactly how the Reviews said . Amazing Staff and What an experience as a Customer starting from the Owner herself very good Service attitude and Amazing Human. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. Apart from the Room the hotel food was very good indeed for us Vegetarians and again every request was adhered to with Smile. This is only place i can think of staying in Port Blair on my next visit :)
Location is ideal for transit flights between port Blair airport and island hops.
Clean and comfortable rooms.
Very good facility to have own food. They provide proper cutlery and siting area on top floor.
Staff is polite and helpful. Staff helped with luggage in the property to the room.
Good network connection. Wifi was improved from last time I stayed here in Dec'23
Small and cozy property. Value for money.
I liked the quaint old-world charm of the hotel.
The flooring, furniture and fittings were of very high quality and the place had the aura of aristocracy.
The members of staff were very polite and helpful and made sure that the stay was memorable.
The Swimming Pool was clean and welcoming and the food was quite good.
The Management should ensure that the beautiful Hotel is maintained in pristine condition.
That's probably the best hotel on the island. There are regular busses right in front going to Chidya Tapu Beach, that is the best beach on Adaman. It's away from the city, wich was a big plus for us, but with markets nearby. The Wifi works well and the service as well as the rooms is great. They also have free transfer from the airport.
Pros / Liked :
Huge pros is the location. Main market is at a walkable distance (if you are willing to walk)
Hotel Staff was very helpfull, and nice behaviour
Room was good, were clean and had all the facilities required.
Complimentary breakfast exceeded expectation
The property met our expectations and we had a very close relationship with the entire family during our stay and felt home away from home..Great food prepared as per our request and was very delicious. Memorable stay at Port Blair. BestWish to the entire family.
One of the best place to stay at Port Blair. So peaceful and calm place. Both the staffs Krishna and Anarul are very humble. Helped us in all possible way. You will get a home like feel here. Rooftop cafe is a real attraction. Sea view is really awesome. 👍👍👍
This is a family-run lodge where you can get a lot of help and advice about visiting Port Blair. The location is by the centre of Aberdeen Market area, a short walk to the Cellular Jail and Phoenix Jetty.
The facilities are basic, but so is the cost.
hotel is rated 4 star which I believe it’s not even 2 days hotel lift out of service no card machine available only have to pay cash at the property. restaurant is food is disgusting price charged for hotel 4 star which I would say ripoff.
The location is close to the airport. From the hotel lobby or window we get the entire view of the airport. It's a good place for one night if you have plans to stay in Port Blair for a short span of time.
Nice little hotel - a well maintained property and staff was courteous + helpful . Room tad overpriced but we had booked during the peak tourist season. Room size was tad smaller than expected.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting port blair...
