The Rough Guide discourages staying in Hassan too the point of not even listing accommodation in favour of Belur. I followed Alex Reynolds' (lostwithpurpose.com ) budget recommendation which is 10 minutes from the Bus Stand and 2 minutes from the 5th Floor rooftop 'Beer Garden Restro' and 1 minute from a good 'english wine shop'

I was only passing through Hasan so did not expect much. Walking around to find a cash machine I could not see much of interest here. I wandered through the small park; which was under major landscaping work. there was construction in many roads so the streets were dusty

I liked Nothing about the place, because front office executive was inhuman and arrogant, didn't evn smile once.
He is the person which ruined my plans,
It is a nice hotel but a person standing in front office is not capable for the work what he is doing.
Only because of him the reputation of the hatel is tarnished.
Location is perfect for people depending on the public transport for visiting Hassan. Bakery, tea and food is really accessible and not far. Property is recently built so looks fresh and clean.
Liked the location, the place. Swimming pool is very good and we enjoyed it a lot. The place has lots of greenery and is very pleasant inspite of it being in the center of the city
The best thing about HMT Comforts - Hero, the one year old golden retriever at the hotel. The receptionist Abhishek too was very friendly.Would definitely visit again.
