The room is very clean with t.v WiFi, windo and attached towillet and shower. The location is quite but in the center of town, 5 minutes walk from the place and near shops restaurants. The owner and the workers are super kind friendly and helpful provide lots of information and assist in what ever i was asking. I highly recommend to stay in the hotel great deal. I really like my stay . And feel sorry that i was unable to stay longer.

We loved the hospitality on the hotel. Ms.Maneesha was so kind and friendly. We booked a standard double room but since we had a 4 month old Ms.Maneesha upgraded us to a luxury room. Would love to come back to stay again.

Aside from a big room with good aircon and huge bed with soft mattress and pillows plus location near the Palace and fine arts museum, there was also a factory outlet for quality silk and incense in the hotel! Most of all the kind friendly and very helpful operations manager Mr Sai Utsaw Mahesh who not only helped with what places to see but even gifted us with an amazing exotic dessert made of betel nut leaves and dark chocolate! They also recommended a great place for breakfast called green heritage with the best South Indian dishes!

One of the best hotels in Mysore! The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The staff was courteous, professional, and always ready to help. Absolutely stunning Palace that is not to be missed.

Absolutely stunning Palace that is not to be missed. Apart from the stunning interiors, there is the Golden Throne that is very beautiful, and also two (at least) Hindu temples (dravidian architecture) where daily prayers are offered. One of the archItectural beauties of India!

On Sunday only the Palace lighting is on for 45 minutes in...

On Sunday only the Palace lighting is on for 45 minutes in evening . Daily you have light and sound after which they light the palace for 5 minutes. On the day we visited it was cancelled . But it’s worth the visit . To check the palace grounds in the evening.

Great place to learn about the Mysore Kingdom, their kings and their earlier lifestyle. Points to note when visiting the palace - 1. Reach the Varaha gate for parking your four wheelers. 2. Fee for adults is 100/- and free for kids before 10 3. Heard straight to leave your footwear at the lockers for the same. The queue system there is very bad. So, if you have an option to leave your footwear in your car, do that unless the weather is too hot for you to walk the short distance barefoot. 4. After you come out and Circle out, you can take pics of the front view of the palace. 5. Although they say that photography is prohibited inside, you would see everybody clicking pics inside the palace.

This is excellent budget hotel, its in the main city next to philomena church, if you want to save money on hotels and explore mysore take this hotel very good to stay at budget price, neat and clean. Then spend more money on renting a scooter to see mysore, mysore is small beautiful city and best way to take scooter on rent to go places like mysore palace, chamundi hills and brindavan gardens. Everything is near to this place. Very good overall

Lok Sagar Hotel has the best location. It is with walking distance of two palaces, the Jaganmohana Palace, with its incredible antique art collection and the Mysore Palace - don't forget to go in the evening to see the palace lit up. The rooms are quite sizable and very comfortable, the restaurant is brilliant, as are their breakfasts, but where this hotel excels is with the staff; they are so kind and helpful. The staff are very knowledgeable, will book transport for you; anything they can do, they will.

Hotel is located near famous Mysore palace and easy to reach there only 10mins drive You can see famous church top St. Joseph's Cathederal (St. Philomena's shrine) from room view and 7 mins drive. Hotel room is really clean. They provide three coats, which is really good for family travellers. Budget is also reasonable. All basic amenities are provided.
