Grand Hotel Bonanno is located in a quiet area of Pisa, a 10 minute walk from the Leaning Tower. The hotel offers free parking, and large rooms with Sky satellite TV, air conditioning, and minibar.
Score from 1129 reviews Good
The elegant Hotel Bologna is in the historic center of Pisa, a 5 minute walk from the train station. It offers free Wi-Fi and a shuttle to the airport.
Score from 1483 reviews Very good
Featuring free Wi-Fi, the NH Cavalieri is a modern building across from Pisa Train Station. The airport shuttles stop in front of the hotel, and the Leaning Tower is just a 20-minute walk away.
Score from 1182 reviews Very good
Just 260 ft from Pisa Central Train Station, 3-star La Pace is in central Pisa, a 20-minute walk from the Leaning Tower. It offers free Wi-Fi and a rich breakfast buffet.
Score from 1105 reviews Good
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms and bathroom exceptionally clean.
Could be more choice of pillows. The wifi was not good.
Very helpful staff, comfortable bed and room, excellent situation for railway and for Pisa airport and for town/historic centre, good breakfast.
Road outside room a bit noisy in the early hours.
The foyer and welcome by the receptionist. Parking on site. The cleanliness of the hotel. The tasteful, elegant and spacious Junior Suites. Marble floor and fireplace in the suites. Electronic window blinds and air-conditioning. The wrap-around balcony of suite 103. The classic, antique and reproduction furniture in the rooms and the public areas. The very comfortable bed and extra pillows. The well appointed bathrooms with decent towels and slippers. Good selection in the mini-bar. Staff were friendly and very obliging. Lift to first floor. Proximity to Pisa airport, but still within walking distance of the Centro.
Nothing to dislike.
Closeness to the train station and airport. very nice breakfast. Room was comfortable and designed nicely. Bathroom was spacious. Staff very helpful, printed out my boarding passes and helped with directions to various sites in Pisa.
Lovely room with a little balcony we could sit out on. Beautiful big bathroom. Very quiet room. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and a lovely garden to sit out and eat in - or have a drink in the evening. Short walk to the centre of Pisa. Good restaurants nearby. Very handy for train station but in good, safe location. Short taxi ride from airport.
Proximity to railway station. Very quiet location considering it's central position. Only 20 minutes to main attractions, but plenty to see en route. Good weather enabled us to eat outside in a pleasant garden terrace.
The room was spacious and decorated beautifully. The bed was large and comfortable. Our son was given extra blankets in his cot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an extensive buffet. We would definitely stay here again.
Car Park was very small for our large rental car and driveway very, very narrow, so that we scratched 2 side panels despite being careful.
Friendly, family run small hotel, less than ten minutes walk from the station. Pleasant outdoor area for breakfast and an evening drink
This hotel is the cleanest I have ever enjoyed. The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. I was made to feel like family. Breakfast buffet is excellent. This would be my first and only choice if I were returning to Pisa!
Absolutely no dislikes.
This quaint hotel is a short 10 min. walk from Pisa train station. Our room was quite large and very comfortable. The included breakfast was very nice and we even sat outside in the adorable courtyard!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Gave us good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was great, included fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast and variety of delicious pastries.
Location excellent for both city and airport . Clean, quiet location that also had secure off-street parking. Friendly efficient staff who kindly booked a restaurant for us too.
The coffee was dreadful - not what you expect in Italy!
Great room, comfortably furnished. Outside patio for breakfast and relaxation. Friendliness of staff. General "feel" of the hotel
Nothing to dislike.
Really a very nice place to stay, friendly manageress, good breakfast, lovely room and bathroom. Incredibly close to the airport and with its own parking.
Not a dislike, but if you are visiting to see the Pisa sights it's a bit of a walk to the main attractions.
The hotel is elegant and stylish but also comfortable and relaxing. The owners are a delightful and obliging couple for whom the hotel seems to be a labour of love, and they have added little personal touches to make the traveller feel at home. Though not in a particularly smart part of Pisa, the hotel is very well placed for both the railway station and the airport ( 5 minutes by taxi ). A good and inexpensive family restaurant known to the hotel is also just a short walk away.
We enjoyed the location, welcoming staff, clean room and great breakfast. The proximity of the Duomo and State University is a plus. I would recommend this hotel to all.
Nothing. All met our needs.
Large spacious room with period furniture. Shower and bath. Great breakfast - indoor or outdoors. Very friendly staff (owners - husband and wife working there ensures high standards). Would certainly recommend and definitely stay there again.
Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast
Thin doors meant noise from corridors could be heard but generally quite quiet.
The rooms are very big and comfy. Staff is really friendly. Internet really works in your room. Dark shutters on the windows help a good sleep .... Sometimes hotel staff tries to be friendly just because they were told to do so. In this nice tiny little hotel the staff was really helpful, nice to chat and helpful. A few small details make all the difference: like a good joke with your morning coffee, anti mosquito pills free of charge in your room and a guy calling me next minute after getting my e-mail where I asked to print my boarding pass (he called to warn that I forgot to attach the boarding pass to be printed).
well, really nothing,
We chose this hotel on the basis of other excellent reviews and were not disappointed at all. At first glance, the location seems wrong - the hotel is south of the river, and all the 'sights' are north of the river, the Field of Miracles with the Tower etc very much so. However, it is only about a 25 minute walk to the Tower and Cathedral and that is through the streets and shops/cafes of the old town, which is interesting in its own right. The hotel gains from being away from the crowds around the Field of Miracles, and also gains massively through being a less than ten minutes walk to the railway station, which we used both to take a day trip to Lucca which is an attractive walled town half an hour's train journey to the north of Pisa, and also to continue our holiday by taking the train to Florence. The airport is also to the south, and we walked to the hotel after arriving with Ryanair from Bournemouth. It took us only about 20-25 minutes (we are in our 60s) pulling two wheeled cabin bags behind us. Like the rest of Pisa, the walk was on flat ground. As far as the hotel goes, we had a good sized room on the ground floor with a large and well-equipped bathroom, with replenished toiletries. The shower cubicle is a little small, but perfectly manageable. The bed was comfortable, as the mattresses were firm which suited me, but not my wife quite as much. There are spare pillows and blankets if needed, but we had no need of them. There was a safe, a television, and a mini-bar (reasonable prices) in the room, and free wifi. The weather was quite hot for most of our stay so we were very appreciative of the air conditioning. Our room had shutters as well as curtains, so we heard very little noise from outside. The owners were very welcoming and attentive. The continental breakfasts were plentiful and of a good standard. Like other guests, we ate in the pleasant courtyard area, except for the one morning when there had been heavy rain the previous night.
One minor point - the wifi goes off after an hour, and you need to log in again.
Friendly staff, good location near to main attractions and restaurants
Breakfast could me more varied
A warm welcome from the start and friendly throughout my stay. Good recommendations for restaurants and breakfast just right!
Friendly, helpful hosts, great breakfast and best coffee in Europe. Thank you!
The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the train station and about a 30 minute walk to the Leaning Tower. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean.
Cleanliness and very good a Wifi connection
Poor breakfast, no kettle in the room,
