The bed is comfortable and the shower is really roomy and spacious. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk from the train/bus station. The neighborhood is a little rough around the edges but it’s close to one of Catania’s main streets and only a 20 minute walk from the city center.

The hotel is very nice, safe and a very short walk from the train station and a metro stop. It Is quiet because it is in a family neighborhood. The breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices of foods, breads, juices and cereal. The lobby is very comfortable and has games and books in English. Staff are available to help but don't speak much English.

The breakfast was amazing, the room was a two floor room which was interesting, different and nice! There’s not a lot of space on the upper floor so you’ll have to go down to shower and dress up likely but it was charming! And many comments say the location was sketchy but I disagree, it’s not in the center but it’s right in a neighborhood where people live and it’s walkable to the center. The receptionist gave a map of places to visit and how to move around and advised I stick to main roads rather than alleys which was very helpful. I booked it because of proximity to the train station.

This was an easy 10. I loved the split-level studio design--though I think there are other floorplans. Modern facilities, great A/C, very quiet, on a side street. Gated monitored entranced. Easy 5 minute walk to bus station -- great for day trips back and forth. Another 5 minutes to train station. Very good selection of continental breakfast.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, about twenty minutes walk from the centre. It is a converted apartment building and is made up of rooms of varying sizes. We had room number two, which I believe is much bigger than many of the other rooms ( I heard some are exceptionally small). Ours was the size of a small studio apartment - and really clean. The mini-bar was well-stocked with a variety of cold drinks (not only beer) and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and satisfying. The decor is unique with posters of the greats in jazz history (and not only jazz musicians).

The personnel's attention is excellent, from the reception to the breakfast room. The included breakfast was very good. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was modern and quiet one. The hotel has nice open areas and patios. The room was comfortable and the bathroom has toiletries that other hotels don't provide as slippers. It was a nice surprise to have selected it. I took it for the convenient location at walking distance to the train station and to the bus going to the Etna.
